Jakarta – In the increasingly heated situation recently in Jakarta and its surroundings, the Jakarta Santri Association has issued an appeal to the entire community to stop anarchic demonstrations that could lead to tension and conflict.

KH. KM. Husni, chairman of the Jakarta Santri Association, urged the public not to be provoked.

“We urge all parties not to be provoked by circulating issues, which could worsen the situation and threaten national unity,” Suprapto explained to the media in Jakarta on Saturday, August 30.

“We understand that the public has various complaints and aspirations to express, but we believe that dialogue and deliberation are the best way to find solutions. Uncontrolled demonstrations will only exacerbate divisions and disrupt public order,” he added.

Furthermore, regarding the loss of life of one of the Ojol members, we call for all matters and resolutions to be handed over to the government.

“We believe the government has the capacity and authority to handle this situation wisely and fairly. Therefore, let’s give the government the opportunity to take the necessary steps for the safety and well-being of the people,” he explained.

The Jakarta Santri Association is committed to continuing to support efforts that promote dialogue, tolerance, and solidarity among citizens. Let us maintain peace and unity for a better future.
