National stability is the primary foundation for sustainable development and public welfare. Without safe and orderly conditions, all government processes and economic activities will face major obstacles. In this context, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) play a central role as the vanguard of national security, unity, and sovereignty. The solidarity between these two institutions ensures that any potential unrest can be anticipated, contained, and prevented from developing into a major threat to national stability.

The Head of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Headquarters Information Center, Major General TNI (Mar) Freddy Ardianzah, emphasized that the TNI and Polri remain united in maintaining national stability and security. He considered their consistency a clear demonstration of their loyalty to the constitutional mandate. For Freddy, solidarity is not merely formal cooperation between institutions, but a fundamental bond that grows from a shared awareness of the importance of maintaining public peace and the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of Public Information Bureau of the National Police Public Relations Division, added that the National Police continue to strengthen synergy with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) in maintaining stability following various demonstrations. He stated that every security measure taken by the authorities is based on the principles of professionalism and humanism. Protection of civilians, guarding public facilities, and preventing anarchic acts are always priorities to ensure that public aspirations can be channeled without causing widespread unrest.

This synergy manifests itself concretely through large-scale joint patrols, integrated security post monitoring, and rapid coordination in emergency situations. The presence of joint forces in various regions has restored a sense of security to the public and affirmed the state’s commitment to ensuring public order. In Brigadier General Trunoyudo’s view, this synergy is not mere rhetoric, but rather concrete action that has a direct impact on public order.

Similarly, Brigadier General Naek Pamen Simanjuntak, Head of the Indonesian National Police’s Propam Division, emphasized the importance of close coordination between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in overseeing daily community activities. He stated that this collaboration serves as a defensive bulwark capable of preventing post-demonstration conflict escalation. The presence of joint patrols and integrated surveillance posts is an effective mechanism to minimize the potential for unrest. Naek Pamen emphasized that the authorities are present not to instill fear, but rather to provide a sense of security and protection for all levels of society.

The strategic dimension of the TNI-Polri synergy extends beyond securing demonstrations. This collaboration is also a vital instrument in safeguarding national integrity from global threats, the infiltration of transnational ideologies, and the spread of disinformation that has the potential to divide society. With strong solidarity, both institutions are capable of fending off various threats, both domestic and international, that could weaken the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

From a global perspective, the solidity of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) demonstrates Indonesia’s robust defense and security system. While many other countries face instability due to internal conflict, Indonesia is able to maintain relative order and stability. This situation not only provides a sense of security for citizens but also bolsters international confidence. Foreign investors view stability as a key factor in attracting investment, thus the role of the TNI and Polri in maintaining order contributes to strengthening the investment climate and national economic growth.

However, successfully maintaining stability is not solely the responsibility of the authorities. Public support is equally crucial. Awareness to respect the law, peacefully express aspirations, and avoid provoking misleading issues, especially on social media, are integral to ensuring national security. The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) consistently foster dialogue with the public, fostering an understanding that security is a shared responsibility.

From a global perspective, Indonesia’s stability, maintained by the solidity of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri), creates a positive image internationally. While many other countries are facing internal conflict, Indonesia is able to maintain order. This has direct implications for increased investor confidence and strengthened prospects for national economic growth. Thus, security synergy not only impacts social order but also encourages sustainable economic development.

Undeniably, demonstrations are a legitimate part of democracy. However, when they turn violent, the public suffers the most. Damage to public facilities, disruption of public services, and social unrest are the real impacts. This is where the solidarity of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) plays a crucial role in ensuring that aspirations are conveyed without compromising national stability.

Going forward, the synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) is expected to be further strengthened through cross-sector collaboration, the use of modern security technology, and a persuasive approach to the public. The combination of firmness in law enforcement and a humanistic approach in interactions with the public will ensure that the TNI and Polri remain the glue that unites the nation.

With this strong foundation, national stability is no longer merely political jargon, but a reality directly experienced by the people. Amidst the ever-changing political, social, and economic dynamics, the solidarity of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) remains a key pillar in maintaining the security, peace, and sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
