Jakarta – Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) said that the government is currently strengthening public schools through national integration.

This was stated by Gus Ipul when opening the Basic Education Data Synchronization (Dapodik) activity at 66 Elementary Schools Phase 1C which was held at the Grand Travello Hotel Bekasi.

This synchronization aims to integrate all Public School data into the Dapodik system managed by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, so that Public School education data is connected and integrated with cross-ministerial systems.

“So this is synchronization, so our data is better and connected with all ministries,” said Gus Ipul.

According to him, operators at the People’s School play a strategic role in fulfilling various administrative requirements, from data on teachers, students, and educational staff to data on educational units and their institutions.

“(So) this is how our data is connected to the data held by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department. Here, teacher data and student data are connected, they can be linked,” said Gus Ipul.

He explained that nationwide, People’s Schools have been distributed across 166 locations. Synchronization has been completed in 100 locations in the first and second phases, while this activity is the third phase, covering the remaining 66 locations.

Gus Ipul acknowledged that several obstacles remain in the synchronization process, as the People’s School is a pilot program being implemented for the first time. Data discrepancies were still found in the early stages of implementation.

However, the Ministry of Social Affairs continues to coordinate across ministries and institutions, including with the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform and the State Civil Service Agency (BKN), to address these obstacles.

“We continue to coordinate, and we can overcome any obstacles that arise,” he stressed.
