CIDISS – Central Kalimantan Governor, H Sugianto Sabran conveyed seven important points that should be a common concern at the 72nd anniversary of Independence of Indonesia. The seven things, as conveyed by Head of Communications and Informatics Office Barito North M Iman Topik, namely first, as a great nation, the nation consists of various tribes, religions, races, and groups separated by islands stretching from Sabang to Merauke.
Therefore, the Governor urges the public to continue to promote unity and mutual respect between religion, inter-ethnic, and class so that the atmosphere of peace and conducive always in the environment. “Make Central Kalimantan a pilot province of inter-religious tolerance, because diversity is very guarded in Bumi Tambun Bungai, Bumi Pancasila and Bumi Berkah with Huma Betang culture,” he explained.
Second, in 2018, it will be held Elections to Regional (Pilkada) simultaneously. In Central Kalimantan there are 10 districts and one city that will carry out elections. The Governor appeals to all levels of society, socio-political organizations, religious organizations and parliament to jointly create a conducive atmosphere, so the Pilkada in Central Kalimantan can be held in orderly, smooth, safe and peaceful.
Third, as it is known that the central government is discouraging the transfer of the capital of Administration. Central Kalimantan is one of the strongest candidates to become the capital of Administration. “I am a Governor of Central Kalimantan support the central government’s plan for the progress of development and prosperity of the people in Central Kalimantan,” he said.
Fourth, the governor asks all elements of Central Kalimantan society to continue improving the understanding of the ideology of Pancasila and invites the active role of ulama, ustadz, pastor, priest, monk, guardian, damang customary head, mantir, public figure, educator, artist, media, Ranks of bureaucracy, military and police as well as all components of society to increase the appreciation and experience of Pancasila values.
Fifth, the Governor has launched a war on drugs, for it is ordered to all parties concerned, especially law enforcement officers to act firmly against drug dealers, “if need to shoot on the spot. This is my commitment to create a young generation of Central Kalimantan who is free from the dangers of drugs, “said the governor.
Sixth, the governor invites the district / city governments to increase their own PAD, implement intensification and extension of increasing PAD by exploring various potentials.
Seventh, the governor instructed the regents / mayors of Central Kalimantan to identify roads crossed by mining, plantation, and forestry, then report it to the governor of Central Kalimantan. The roads then will be managed in a coordinated and synergistic manner between the relevant provincial, district and city governments and the business world.
