Choirul Fuadi, Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – Electric crisis in Mendawai, Katingan Regency making students of Vacancy High School 1 (SMKN 1) Mendawai, Katingan Regency, and Central Kalimantan did innovation to electric generator.
Finally, electric crisis thought out creativity and innovation, that is, students successfully made generator Non Bbm (Bahan Bakar Minyak) refined fuel oil.
Head Master of Vacancy High School 1 Mendawai, Tutang, said that this idea arise to make generator Non BBM when condition of electric supply is poor. “Our idea was on the how to fulfill electric needing in the school,” said Tatang, like quote in Kalteng Pos (7/5/2015).
This generator is square that made from many components such as dynamo rotor, dynamo of energy, storage battery 100 ampere, and other components. Work system, made the best use of changing potency energy to kinetic energy then become mechanic energy. The last product is electric energy.
Moreover, work system of this generator does not need charging using cable or other. It was because, as long as we using this machine, electric flow will automatically fill in component of saving energy.
“So, this generator can using continuity, except when replacing energy of storage battery or broke thing,” said Tutang.
This generator is small, so this is very easy and simple to put in the house and the sound is not loud. “This machine can fulfill electric needing for one house and school, such as refrigerator, lamp and other electronic device,” said Tutang.
So far, they have made two machines, machine with 1200 watt and 1500 watt. “Making this machine 1200 watt, we need 10 million IDR till 15 million IDR and spend 2 weeks,” said Tutang.
He also said that he with his team continue develop this machine.
