Indonesian society is certainly no stranger to Fadli Zon. Believe it or not, just by looking for “Achievement of Fadli Zon”, through Google, you can find a great achievement from a Fadli Zon, namely as a critic of the government. Yes, a government critic, where Fadli is part of the government even though it is in the capacity of a legislator.
This phenomenal figure is known as a person who actively criticizes the government, both directly and through poetry of his work. This is supported by his education history which graduated from the Russian Literature Department, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Indonesia. To date, Fadli Zon has made 30 poems, with details of 8 poems made during the 2014 presidential election campaign, 4 poems made in 2016, 7 poems made in 2017, 8 poems made in 2018, and 3 poems made in 2019. Quite often the poem triggers controversy because it was considered to offend certain parties, such as the one that had been excited a while ago, namely a poem titled “Prayer that is exchanged”. The poem caused protests among santri and Muslims in various regions because it was considered insulting the ulama, Mbah Moen.
In addition to poetry, Fadli Zon’s cynical action towards Jokowi and his government also often invited various responses from leaders to ordinary people. As is known, Fadli Zon is a supporter of Prabowo Subianto – Sandiaga Uno in the 2014 and 2019 Presidential Elections. The supporters of the Paslon 02 faction certainly support everything that Fadli Zon criticized for the Jokowi government so far. While supporters of the incumbent presidential candidate consider the signal of Fadli Zon so far only a mere slander, without a strong evidence base.
In 2013, President Prabowo Subianto once mentioned that the criteria for future leaders were very high. In addition to being intelligent and highly intellectual, prospective leaders must also have a library and book publishing, as did Gerindra Deputy Chairperson Fadli Zon. Therefore, with his intelligence and extensive knowledge because he has a library, Fadli Zon is considered by Prabowo as a suitable Minister of Education and Culture for the next government.
Until now, Prabowo’s statement still tickled his ears. Is it true that Prabowo said that the figure of Fadli Zon whose hobby was deserving of being the Minister of Education and Culture? Fadli Zon is also famous for his hobbies of blocking people on social media that are at odds with him. What will happen to this nation if the Minister of Education and Culture is Fadli Zon, whose hobbies are nagging and criticizing but don’t want to be criticized? Not to mention the su’ul adab behavior. Starting from questioning what was the effect on the nation if Sandiaga jumped over the tomb and made poems that were allegedly insinuating Mbah Moen.
If Prabowo’s assessment that people have libraries and book printing and are knowledgeable who deserve to be the Minister of Education and Culture, there are still many other people who have polite attitudes, which are included in the criteria. Taking care of the DPR’s performance, Fadli has not yet finished, as he revealed that the intensity of the performance of members of the DPR ahead of the 2019 Legislative Election has decreased. Somehow the quality of Indonesian children if Fadli Zon was elected as Minister of Education and Culture. Prabowo’s camp is unique. Many supporters were eccentric. The choice is in the hands of the people. Do not let regret arise over our choices for the next five years.
