The sympathizers and participants of ISIS group have networked and spread to the ASEAN countries. A Malaysia Militant Group also wants to form a terrorist network in Southeast Asia.This is proved by the Head of the Counterterrorism Division of Malaysia, Dato Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay. According to him, there are three people who want to form a network of terrorist Islamic state in Southeast Asia.
ISIS network in ASEAN is not a new face, but bombings and attacks in Paris can be used as a momentum of the rise of terrorist groups. The security in ASEAN countries will be increased. It could be that these sympathizers or partisan of ISIS group is participating in the bombing of the Ambassador of a country that has been attacked or attacking ISIS-company with the flags of ISIS country.
The spread of radicalism by ISIS continues to grow in Indonesian society. This group will make and ideology and an understanding of religion as a weapon in the spread of religion. The deployment is done through propaganda, sermons or lectures. This is the reason why Islam is often being reputed as terorrisms. This group is very likely to smuggle their beliefs throughout Indonesians, both Muslim who are the worshipers joined in assemblies tak’lim and islamic boarding schools.
The Indonesian government must be aware of the ISIS network attacks that might happen in Indonesia. All the groups which are affiliated by ISIS movement must be watched either they are moving into the country and existing in the country. The security sistem of vital objects which are vulnerable should continue to be done by the Indonesian police.
To prevent the radicalism hosted by ISIS, it requires the role of all the Indonesians. We may not only use the role of the police in preventing the rise of ISIS in Indonesia. The whole society should be participated to become the eyes of the ear that could prevent the spread of ISIS group. Do not hesitate to report a thing to the authorities.
