Acehnese Residents condemn shootings in New Zealand

The international community has strongly condemned the shooting of Friday prayers which took place in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand namely Al-Noor Mosque and Linwood Mosque. At least 50 people died as a result of the shooting tragedy.
In Aceh, various elements of the community held a solidarity action against the terror that befell the Muslims of New Zealand. Dozens of participants came carrying posters containing criticism of the terrorist act.
ACT Aceh Branch Head Husaini Ismail, who is also one of the orators of the action, stressed that the killing of Muslims in New Zealand is a crime that cannot be forgiven. Moreover, the act of murder was broadcast live on social media. He said, his party could not imagine what the crime of the perpetrators of the murder was like.
Husaini also invited Acehnese Muslims to voice solidarity with New Zealand Muslims in a civilized manner. A Muslim, said Husaini, has civilized ways against tyranny. He said, killing one soul is the same as killing humanity worldwide. Saving one soul is the same as saving the people of the world.This is a signal that they are sounding and demands that we as citizens of Indonesia always be vigilant and maintain peace, especially in the current political year. And it is hoped that for all Indonesian people, all levels of religion, group, group to always maintain harmony with fellow citizens. Putting 4 national pillars above all temporary interests which are now raging above all, and keeping Indonesia peaceful, conducive and safe.
