This condition certainly has the potential to increase the political temperature, so that it will become a threat and cause conflicts that can destabilize the peace that has been created so far.
Dandim 1207 / BS, Lt. Col. Arm Stefie Djanje Nuhujanan, in his speech, said that the Indonesian nation is a great nation that always upholds inter-religious tolerance, besides that Indonesia is also known as a pluralistic society that has a variety of ethnic groups, languages and six region which is officially recognized by the government, namely, Protestant, Hindu, Muslim, Muslim, Catholic and Confucian.
The 1207 / BS Dandim asserted, therefore, the harmony of religious people is a very important factor in the life of the community, nation and religion.
That requires commitment and participation of all components of society, especially religious leaders and the government in maintaining religious harmony, said the Dandim.
The 1207 / BS Dandim hopes that the 2019 democratic party will not be held by any electoral participant who uses the issue of Religion as part of his political campaign, whether carried out openly or in secret.
