In 2020, Indonesia will once again hold simultaneous local elections in 270 regions. All parties also hoped that the 2020 elections could run peacefully and were not filled with expressions of hatred, hoaxes and SARA issues.

Therefore political stability and security are very necessary. Because after all we have agreed on democracy, so do not be damaged by dirty political attitudes like the black campaign.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo wants the simultaneous elections of 2020 in 270 regions to run safely and democratically, he also wants the elections to run cool. There is no slander between each other.

To attract support for the implementation of the Peace elections, the Central Java Regional Police (Polda) appreciated the steps of the Semarang City Ansor Youth Movement (GP) which diligently campaigned for national unity. Therefore, the Central Java Regional Police hopes that young NU cadres will continue to voice the message of peace, especially when the simultaneous local elections take place in September.

According to the delegation from the Central Java Regional Police AKP Sugeng, GP Ansor had many cadres engaged in various fields, one of which was in the field of public education. Therefore, he asked the Semarang City Ansor GP to provide political education to the public so that the regional head elections in Central Java could take place peacefully.

Responding to this, the Head of Semarang City Ansor GP PC, Syaiful Bahri said, Ansor-Banser cadres who were active in all fields had many skills. Of course all of that was done to maintain the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) to remain safe and peaceful.

He also revealed that Ansor cadres were active in the mosque, and in the community in general fostering the community. So that it can convey peace and a message of peace in facing elections.

Especially in dealing with various citizens, Syaiful said that the Ansor youth would actively voice messages of harmony and nationality. Mainly in making a contradiction in dealing with radical and intolerant groups.

Deputy Head of Media Information, Dimas Bagus Pamungkas added, the Semarang City Ansor Cyber activity was indeed projected to reduce existing conflicts.

According to him, the Central Java Regional Police’s step in cooperating with Ansor so that peaceful and dignified elections are the right step.

Siber Indonesia Media Union (SMSI) is committed to realizing the peaceful elections in 2020. That’s what the SMSI central board said.

In addition, the declaration of peaceful plilkada was also shown by the Association of Youth Concerned Democracy of the City of Palu (IP2DKP) Renaldhy AB Paliudju, S.IP said, the Election of Regional Heads (Pilkada) of the Governor, regents / mayors in Central Sulawesi Province, is one of the implementation of the principle of people’s sovereignty based on Pancasila in the Republic of Indonesia.

According to him, as a youth he realized that the elections were the highest decision in every Province or region that adheres to a democratic system.

In addition he considered that the elections are also an instrument of democracy to produce leaders who are in accordance with the will of the people.

Renaldhy also hopes that the elected leaders will also have to carry out the mandate of the people in their respective regions. This is because the purpose of the elections is to be able to produce leaders who are trustworthy and better able to provide the welfare of the people in their area.

It also said that the implementation of local elections is often tinged with political action. Whether it’s done from prospective candidates, or supporters. Even during the pre-election period, it is often tinged with unpopular actions which are prone to cause conflicts. While after the implementation of the elections, there was often dissatisfaction from the results of the elections.

Therefore, his party also hopes that KPU as the organizer and Bawaslu who conducts supervision can anticipate all possibilities so as not to cause friction in the lower classes.

Equally important is the digital literacy needed to equip the community when exposed to unclear information, so that people will be better equipped to succeed in the implementation of a peaceful local election.

In addition, fanaticism should also be muted, because in political contestation, winning and losing is common, if we smell the scent of cheating, then use the constitutional path, not by playing judge yourself.

The peaceful local election is a form of nation’s maturity in politics, so that if there is a riot, it is certainly questionable for the national spirit.
