The security situation ahead of the inauguration of the President and Vice President tends to be conducive. Nevertheless, there are still provocations from certain groups who want to frustrate the inauguration. Security forces were asked to be on guard.
Indonesia Police Watch (IPW) requests that the Indonesian republic police
(POLRI) to be aware of the maneuvering of opposition groups who are trying to thwart the inauguration of Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin on 20 October.
Neta S Pane revealed, there were at least 3 groups who played by camouflage into demonstrations to reject the Criminal Code Bill and the KPK Bill.
IPW search results, the group will use the elements of students and thugs in rolling out the action.
Neta explained that there were 3 groups consisting of a coalition of radical religious groups, a coalition of secular groups who were dissatisfied with the government, as well as groups who tried to play a bargaining position with Jokowi.
Although IPW believes that the efforts of the three opposition groups will not reap the rewards, the police still need to pay close attention so that the actions camouflaged by the three groups will not cause chaos and damage in Jakarta.
The National Police also needs to collaborate with the TNI in securing vital objects in order to prepare Jakarta’s security during Jokowi’s inauguration as president. Because the concentration of Korsp Bhayangkara was split due to the turmoil in Papua.
In addition, police intelligence needs to monitor pockets of radicalism around Jabodetabek and hunt down funders of demonstrations who intend to thwart Jokowi’s inauguration as president on 20 October.
Meanwhile, Senior Politician Ruhut Sitompul suspects that there are still some supporters of Prabowo Subianto who have not moved on after the presidential election. They are ‘old people’ who have a tendency to oppose Jokowi.
He said, there were still ripples that did not accept the victory of Jokowi-Ma’ruf to try to disturb the stability and the inauguration of the two on 20 October.
Ruhut believes, they are not supporters of Prabowo-Sandiaga but groups that are suspected as stowaways of democracy. Like mass organizations which so far have tended to damage the stability of the country and have an understanding that is at odds with Pancasila.
Whereas after the reconciliation between Prabowo and Jokowi, supporters of Prabowo actually accepted the results of the 2019 Presidential Election by declaring the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin pair as the legal leaders of the state.
It seems that the abolition effort indeed often occurs in almost every presidential inauguration, but political observer Karyono Wibowo said, the existence of parties who wanted to thwart the inauguration of the president was not new in Indonesia.
The group also in fact used the situation for political purposes by frustrating the inauguration. Since the era of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) there have also been groups who have wanted to thwart the inauguration. However, the group never succeeded.
Karyono said, the group that wanted to thwart the inauguration of the elected president, felt aware that his efforts would not succeed from the start. That is why they are piggybacking on the student movement. Then cast a strong protest to Jokowi, so in that way a perception will emerge that there are still many publics who are dissatisfied with the Jokowi government.
Meanwhile, Haidar Alwi, who is the Person in Charge of the Jokowi Volunteer Alliance (ARJ), urged the police to immediately dismantle the mastermind behind the demonstrations that led to anarchists leading up to the presidential inauguration for the 2019-2024 period.
Haidar rate, currently President Jokowi is in a desperate condition. Although Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin has been legitimate and constitutional as a participant in the Presidential Election who was elected as President and Vice President.

He also added, ARJ was still loyal and solid in upholding the constitution by referring to the Pancasila of the 1945 Constitution, Unity in Diversity and consistently maintaining the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
On different occasions, the TNI also guaranteed the inauguration of the president and vice president would run smoothly. Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto stressed that the TNI was committed to taking part in securing the inauguration procession of the President and Vice President.
So anyone who acts anarchist, unconstitutional and not good, including efforts to thwart the inauguration of the president and vice president of the election results, will face the TNI.
Alertness is certainly needed, because organized crime will defeat unorganized good, so we have a role in guarding the inauguration process, even though it only spreads the message of goodness on social media.
