The peace of the land of Papua and West Papua are the things that we are most proud of. Many things can be done with an atmosphere of comfort and peace, including without the intervention of provocateurs.
Ricuh in Papua last week made many parties look forward to safe and conducive conditions. As we know, the events that were tense were caused by irresponsible parties. They only exist to have adverse disintegration effects.
But the provocateurs’ efforts seem to have to stop here. Because Papuans have realized that they have been deceived by parties who are only carrying out incidents in their own interests.
The good news if we visit Cities in Papua and West Papua the atmosphere has been so peaceful, cool, friendly to anyone. There were no signs left of anarchist protests, especially in Jayapura and Sorong. Which, as we know last week there was a demonstration that led to the destruction. Damage caused starting from buildings, markets, stalls and homes of residents.
Mirisnya again public facilities in Sorong which became the target of anarchist mass action is the Airport. However, with the swift movement of the TNI and Polri, Sorong airport was finally able to operate as usual. The TNI, Polri, ASN officers and the community fibers worked hand in hand to clean the city from the remnants of the chaos the other day.
The great thing about this mutual cooperation looks very solid, they do not look at the origin, whether migrants or native communities all mingle to work together to make Jayapura a clean, beautiful, comfortable and peaceful city as before.
The latest development of Pepua and West Pepua especially in cities has grown into heterogeneous populated cities. Namely, the number of migrants and natives like areca nut halved, the same in terms of quantity.
They all live in harmony, shoulder to shoulder, and mutual cooperation that makes them forget the divider between them. They realize, although different in terms of religion, race, and class, in fact the native population with Legowo accept them with open arms. As for migrants who feel comfortable with the acceptance of indigenous people, they blend in and hold on to the adage “WHERE THE EARTH IS FOUND, THE SKY IS VISITED.”
Over time, their lives become deeper bonds, including marriage. Acculturation in this land of Papua is like what happened in America, namely the marriage of “Black and White.” They lived in peace as long as the provocateurs did not set fire to make the people of Papua take anarchist action.
This provocateur is suspected of living in the forest. But there are also those who live in abundance abroad. His job was trivial, just knitting hoax news, looking for funds which then catapulted incitement on behalf of STRUGGLE. These provocateurs attract help from institutions and people who are easily lied to. Special elements outside this country only observe from afar. They have lived there for a long time, but it is unfortunate that they often upload news, minor, cynical, aggressive and other lies.
Not only abroad, inside the country, there are also many dissident elements who are struggling with bureaucracy and NGOs. The good news, their efforts to provoke the people of Pepua have failed. The people of the Earth of Paradise are sure to bring flesh and blood and Pepua’s biological mother is our beloved archipelago, Indonesia.
They are also proud if developments from various sectors have touched their lives, such as their belief in Indonesia which always nurtures Pepua. Equitable distribution of the economic, health and education sectors is felt to have reached its point of achievement. So Pepua doesn’t need to look for another independence. Because it is only on Indonesian earth that they have gained the meaning of independence itself.
For Pepua, being an Indonesian people is an eternal choice that cannot be tinkered with any more. While our task is to help advance the people of Papua to achieve prosperity, peace like other regions in Indonesia. Pepua is always the Republic of Indonesia, the price is dead. Strengthen unity and unity even stronger so that there are no loopholes for provocateurs to enter and destroy all order of our lives. Moreover, with peace we will be able to realize solid and inseparable national stability.
