The public and the government is currently still struggling to reduce the Covid-19 Transmission Curve. The decline in the transmission curve is absolutely necessary to continue to realize the new normal phase. Therefore, complying with health protocols is a non-negotiable fixed price.

Of course we’ve heard the news about the Tablig worshipers who turned out to ignore health protocols. When the government encouraged people to stay at home, most members of the Tablig congregation chose to go to Gowa. Arriving there, it turns out the event has been disbanded.

Instead of being sprayed spiritually, those who ignore the co-19 threat, instead go home with PDP status. Even in Wonosobo District, the Gowa cluster is the largest contributor to co-19 patients. Followed by a cluster of people who come in contact with people returning from Gowa.

Although the recovery rate of covid-19 patients has increased, disregard for health protocols will certainly have an impact on the growing chain of transmission.

Certainly not excessive if the health protocol is a fixed price for anyone who is forced to move out of the house during the pandemic.

Chairman of the Co-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Doni Monardo explained that the protocol for productive and safe communities in Co-19 must go through several stages.

Doni explained that health protocols must still be maintained in stages towards a productive society. Doni explained the conditions that must be met first, including the preconditions which include socialization, studies and research, as well as surveys on behavior change and the effectiveness of the Quarantine Law. In addition, timings, priorities, central and regional coordination, and monitoring and evaluation.

What will be done in the first stage is the reduction of restrictions in regencies / cities that have a blue classification or arguably no cases yet, and green which is a low risk area.

In the second stage, reducing restrictions are carried out on the mining and plantation sectors as well as other sectors with little risk.

Then in the third stage, is to choose the province in accordance with WHO criteria to run new normal. The conditions include getting the support of the regional head, strict health protocols and severe sanctions for violators.

Whereas in the fourth stage, the implementation of new normal will be carried out in tourist sites. The conditions include the availability of medical staff at all times and building information technology systems in the framework of tracking.

Next is the application of new normal in the realm of education. In addition to support from the regional head and strict implementation of the health protocol, consultation with parents is also a requirement plus the availability of medical personnel at any time.

Meanwhile, Indonesian President Joko Widodo has advised all elements of the nation to continue to fight and be optimistic in facing the corona virus pandemic. Pandemic is now a test of the nation that needs to be overcome together with solidarity, mutual cooperation and unity.

The former Surakarta Mayor said that the 215 challenges faced by the pandemic were also felt by 215 countries in the world. According to him, this nation must rise to be the winner in controlling the virus or in an effort to recover the economy which is now falling due to the co-19 pandemic.

To be prepared to welcome new normal, of course, discipline becomes something that is not negotiable. National Police Chief Gen. Idham Azis invites and asks the public to increase unity and integrity that increases discipline in welcoming new normalcy.

The health protocol that must still be applied even after the new normal starts. Among them maintaining hand hygiene, wearing masks when leaving the house, still applying social distancing, and maintaining health with nutrition and exercise intake.

Of course the community must comply with health protocols for the safety of themselves and their families at home.

The health protocol also regulates the procedure for gathering outside the house, eating in restaurants to worship in houses of worship.

The concept of a new lifestyle becomes the next phase that the community must go through when the liberation rules are relaxed.

One that must be considered by the government of a country or region to begin to loosen restrictions on the corona virus pandemic is to educate, see and empower people to welcome new normal.

The new lifestyle can of course be carried out while continuing to promote health protocols in daily activities.

The health protocol is indeed a necessity so that the positive number of co-19 can be suppressed.

New Normal is a phase where we can still live life while still implementing health protocols. For example it might have been very jarrang lay people wearing lipstick to beautify themselves
