The Aumni Brotherhood (PA) 212 plans to hold a reunion on December 2, 2019. Despite claiming that it is for religious purposes, the public continues to label the event thick with political overtones as happened in the previous year.
The 212 reunion that will be held in December will leave a question, why was Prabowo not on the invited guest list, even though last year, Prabowo Subianto was present at the event, even though it claimed there was no campaign, but we all knew what the purpose of the 212 reunion was at the time, is none other than bringing down Jokowi by giving support to Prabowo.
But the parties who formulated the 212 Reunion seemed to be enraged when Prabowo met with Jokowi and Megawati. For Prabowo’s supporters this is certainly a reconciling moment, but for groups that only make Prabowo a ‘tool’, they will assume that Prabowo is a traitor.
They also did not suspect that Prabowo, who was hailed during the 212 reunion, finally chose to congratulate Jokowi.
PA 212 has slowly seen what the goal is, all the screams about ‘jihad for the sake of the Republic of Indonesia’ finally proved to be nonsense. Even the Chair of PA 212 himself said that Prabowo-Sandiaga was for them just a tool. It means that once they cannot be used anymore, they are not considered as friends, of course this is very painful. Moreover, Prabowo-Sandiaga is only likened to a ‘tool’ to fulfill their political lust.
In addition, we also need to question whether the 212 reunion at that time was indeed pure in favor of Prabowo Subianto, or simply because he wanted to bring down Jokowi by supporting Prabowo-Sandi.
The hope is that if Prabowo wins, they will be able to ‘drive’ Prabowo to want to obey their wishes because Prabowo is considered to be indebted.
But the support raised by PA 212 and some of its wing forces did not succeed in bringing down Jokowi, instead Jokowi succeeded in occupying the President’s seat for the second time, and what happened, Prabowo Subianto, who had been his political rival, had now joined Jokowi’s cabinet. Ma’ruf Amin.
Even then, those who said PA 212 did not seem to receive official results from the KPU, and whispered Prabowo to continue to sue the Court, the problem was during the lawsuit at the Court, the people in Indonesia were treated by political comedy by the plaintiff. The result is Jokowi-Ma’ruf’s victory did not shift.
What is clear, if there are still those who believe that the reunion 212 is truly a means of fighting for the country, this is certainly already too much. If that’s the case, they should support Prabowo when he is eating together and sitting 1 car in the MRT. Because it means that in the future there is no division between the two.
But it seems PA 212 failed to move on with what Prabowo Subianto did, they felt abandoned by his role models. The failure seemed to be reflected in the 212 reunion agenda that was still continuing. Of course we should be aware that the 212 reunion that will be held is their agenda to plague Indonesia.
The Indonesian people had known from the start, that the PA 212 struggle was not a religious struggle, but a political struggle, because besides aiming to overthrow Jokowi. PA 212 also considers the jokowilah active behind the Rizieq Shihab ban who cannot return to the country.
What is unfortunate from Reunion 212 is that it is easy for millions of people to be influenced by their propaganda who have political interests but are neatly packaged as if it were just an ordinary religious action. Of course this proves that conservatives are increasingly in Indonesia.
Participants of the Reunion 212 were unaware that what they were taking part in was a trigger for Indonesia’s division. This is proven by the increasing number of residents who do not want another house of worship near their homes, the more school children do not want to elect a student council leader who is not of the same religion, the more they want a khilafah or Pancasila state with Islamic regulations.
If the reunion of 212 was only a gathering, then why would anyone refuse the event. Nothing else the success of the action seemed to justify people to be free to denounce his brothers who disagree, to denounce the leader of his country, even though Satan was cursed for denouncing his creatures. Is not it a tyranny if there is a group of people who ride and provoke the act for political interests alone?
