64.000 maskers to anticipate Smog
Choirul Fuadi, Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – Long summer season cause arise much of Hot spots in some district of Central Kalimantan. It made some land arise fire and smog. Besides that, fire land made the situation worse and much smog in Kotawaringin Barat regency, central Kalimantan.
The government of Kotawaringin Barat prepare ready to anticipate negative effect of smog to the health of people of Kotawaringin Barat. Government prepares 64.000 maskers and will distribute to people in Kotawaringin Barat regency, Central Kalimantan. The masker will distribute especially to kids, pregnancy woman and old people.
“The masker has been distributed to some hospital which near of Hot spots and cause of smog,” said chief of health board Kotawaringin Barat, Indrawan Sakti, it like quote in Borneo News, Saturday (15/8/2015).
Based on data of Health board of Kotawaringin Barat, smog was fully in cities, that is Pangkalan Bun, then in some districts of Kotawaringin lama and other districs.
Health of Board will directly distribute the masker to people. “Smog made acute respiratory Infections (ARI/ISPA) sufferers increase,” Said Indrawan.
