Government Issues Marriage Cards QR code, Facilitates Marriage Information Systems And Helps Eradicate Fake Marriage Books
CIDISS. The government through the Ministry of Religion launched a marriage card as an effort to improve marriage registration services and facilitate the parties to obtain data on the marriage card holder by displaying the QR Code. This information will contain data connected with data from the Population and Civil Registry Data (DUKCAPIL) managed by the Ministry of Home Affairs. However, a marriage card does not necessarily become a substitute for a marriage book. Because, the marriage card will be given to the bride along with the giving of the marriage book after the implementation of the marriage contract.
The Director of Bina KUA and Family Sakinah Mohsen said that the couple who received the marriage card temporarily was a couple listed on the marriage management information system (SIMKAH) “This applies to couples who are married after the SIMKAH Web application is launched on November 8, 2018. marriage books and marriage cards at once, “he said, as quoted by the official website of kemenag.go.id, Tuesday (11/13). The launch of the Marriage Card was held in conjunction with the launch of a new version of the Marriage Management Information System (SIMKAH) application at the HM Rasjidi Auditorium, Ministry of Religion Building, Jalan MT Thamrin No 6, Jakarta, Thursday (08/11).
Mohsen added, the marriage card contains a QR code. If scanned using a scanner, you will read the data of the bride and groom directly connected to SIMKAH Web. The recorded data includes the names of marriage partners, marriage certificate numbers, perforated numbers of marriage books, NIK, dates, and places of marriage contract. “This card is also designed with good safety features, so it cannot be faked,” said Mohsen. As an initial stage, Mohsen continued, in 2018 the Marriage Card will be reserved for married couples in 67 major cities in Indonesia.
According to Mohsen, a marriage card is an innovation in marriage services conducted by the Directorate General of Guidance for the Islamic Community of the Ministry of Religion. Marriage Cards are information technology-based marriage identity cards that are easy to carry and have data accuracy. “This innovation is expected to be directly felt by the community. People now don’t have to bother carrying marriages anymore, just a wedding card, “Mohsen said.
