Ahead of his appointment as KPK Chairperson, Inspector General Firli was hit by a series of slanders. He was said to have violated a heavy code of ethics while serving as KPK’s Deputy for Enforcement. In fact, his qualifications as a KPK leader have been professionally tested. On the other hand, Inspector General Firli was considered to provide a breath of fresh air because he had a new vision and mission amid rumors of the existence of Taliban groups within the KPK.
The complexity of the middle encompasses the KPK’s strong body, the article is that there are many accusations of being elected by the Pansel Capim, Inspector General Firli Bahuri (FB). Some slanders were filed against FB ahead of the fit and proper test, related to cases of serious violations of the code of ethics.
The news spread as if this Inspector General was a prisoner. Ranging from 500 rejections from KPK employees to various insistent protests. Various news spread so quickly that it went viral in an instant. However, FB was not afraid he responded to the various investigations calmly and keukeuh stated that he had not done anything that was rumored.
It doesn’t take long for interesting facts to be revealed little by little. Unique and strange story floated, related to a letter given by the leadership of the KPK to the House of Representatives commission III. Which contains the statement that the chosen capim is not fit to advance due to a serious violation of his code of ethics.
This news became increasingly absurd when the KPK leader, Saut Situmorang gave a press conference related to the issue of Inspector General Firli, even at almost the same time. Even more odd is when Alexander Marwata, as the deputy chairman of the KPK, firmly stated that there were no verdicts related to the issue carried out by this FB.
If examined further, news related to Capim’s track record should have existed well before the due diligence. But does this indicate another purpose? Besides this misdirected maneuver, it was judged that within the KPK there was a political game.
Similar news emerged as this issue developed. FB is considered to have been wronged by the KPK. How not, there is no evidence of justification for related issues, but the news FB has a bad track record has been widespread. It seems that this condition was intentionally created by individuals in the KPK to kill characters against FB. In view of this striking statement, it was revealed at the last minute that the Fit and Proper test was carried out.
Isn’t this very sad and regrettable. How is it possible to infiltrate personal or group interests while the KPK body is screaming in need of a leader who is truly trustworthy in all matters. But apparently Saut Situmorang must be vigilant, the article all forms of hoaxes will be dealt with according to Law no.19 article 27 of 2016.
This law regulates changes to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning information and electronic transactions (ITE). Furthermore, if this article is related to defamation or defamation, it will be subject to punishment. So according to the Act, this KPK person can be determined as a violator of the law.

In fact, there is a demand that the head of the KPK must be resigned immediately. Related to the shameful treatment in the body of the KPK. The clash that occurred was suspected by the blocking of the masses to meet Saut Situmorang.
Back to the issue which was suddenly stocked seemed to be considered very detrimental to Inspector General Firli Bahuri as well as other parties. Not only is FB well known for its impact, but also the committee’s credibility for its performance is questionable. As if the issue has led to a variety of misleading opinions that are likely if not examined properly, it will have a more severe impact.
It will not only lose the Best Capim, but also how the KPK will perform in the future if the issue is trusted. You can imagine, not how all will look unrestrained. Whereas before, the spread of hoaxes (Hoax) had been declared as unlawful behavior. Then what is the function of the law if people just like to deviate? Hopefully the name of Inspector General Firli can soon be cleared and drove to bring fresh air in the body of this KPK.
