Jakarta – CIDISS. Information and news about Jokowi is a Communist. The issue becomes hot issue and trending topic in people both online and offline. Moreover, approaching the 30 September, the issue arises again. The issue is used to attach the personal of Jokowi.
As a president, the issue that Jokowi is communist is a sexy issue and becomes public interest. It always becomes conversation especially who are contra with Jokowi regime.
Actually, public should able to judge by their selves about the rumor, is Jokowi a communist? First, Jokowi in a chance has said, “gebuk” (hit) PKI (communist) when visited to Islamic boarding school Miftahul Huda, Tasikmalaya regency, East Jawa, Saturday (10/6/2017). It indicated, Jokowi has shown his seriousness to kill communism in Indonesia.
Jokowi also stated that toward law of TAP MPRS Nomor 25 Tahun 1966, he and his regime will continue to kill communism and disagree to arise of communism in Indonesia. Second, through enacted Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) No. 2/2017 as amendment to Law Number 17/2013 on Social Organization, Jokowi also shows his position to kill the communism in Indonesia.
The enacted Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) No. 2/2017 forbids many ideologies and movement that contradicts to Pancasila. Not only forbid the communism, but also atheism, communism, Marxism-Leninism. The main purpose of the enacted Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) No. 2/2017 affirms the government’s stance in protect the Republic of Indonesia against threats to the future of Indonesian life and the existence of the Republic of Indonesia in terms of ideology and other aspects
Third, through his Facebook account, Jokowi has answered all the questions and issue about himself that tell him as communist. According to him, the existence of communist in Indonesia has clearly forbidden through TAP MPRS Nomor 25 Tahun 1966 and enacted Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) No. 2/2017. It is strange if it always refer to him, “seem like I protect communist,” said Jokowi.
“One more, I clearly states that no room for communist in Indonesia, because, PKI or communism has declared as forbidden organization in Indonesia. In our constitution (law), there are TAP MPRS, and clearly states communist is forbidden in our country, Indonesia,”
