President Joko Widodo attended the 2018 Indonesia Harmony event, Jokowi arrived at East Plaza GBK Main Stadium, Senayan Sunday (5/8) at 8:00 a.m. with white collared clothes Jokowi was applauded by the participants and also greeted them from the stage. Arriving on stage Jokowi and all Harmony 2018 participants together sang the national anthem of Indonesia Raya.
A number of Ministers were also present at this event, namely Coordinating Minister for PMK Puan Maharani, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Susi PudjiAstuti,
Industry Minister Airlangga Hartarto, TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, The Chairman Of Perindo Haritanoe Sudibjo. Arriving on stage Jokowi and all Harmony 2018 participants together sing the national anthem of Indonesia Raya.
The event was held to welcome the 73rd anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, through this event it is hoped that the younger generation can establish togetherness while remembering the great sacrifice of the heroes in fighting for Indonesian independence, and maintaining it by filling with a myriad of achievements both inside and outside country, as well as patriot attitude, willing to sacrifice, one homeland, one nation and one homeland of Indonesia.
The event was initiated by the 2018 Indonesian Harmony Team and supported by the Ministry of Research and Technology, the Advisory Council of President Sidarto Danusubroto, the Special Staff of the Ministry of PUPR Firdaus Ali. Director General of Belmawa Kemenristekdikti Intan Ahmad, a number of representatives and representatives of friendly countries.
In order for this event to be a success, Harmoni Indonesia involved all state and private universities in 34 provinces. “Our universities involve Indonesia, we have 7 million students from Aceh to Papua, this event will sing along with the Indonesian national anthem, the song of struggle. We are encouraged to be involved in universities in Indonesia, “said Minister of Technology Research and Higher Education Mr. M Nasir.
