Jokowi’s Speech: Make RI’s Anniversary 73 as the Momentum of One Nation’s Unity and Integrity

CIDISS. Indonesia’s 73rd Independence Day is a day to remind Indonesia of the spirit of unity that has been proven by the founders of the nation, the pioneers, and the fighters in seizing and maintaining independence.

Independence Day is a momentum to reaffirm unity and integrity as a nation.

Jokowi revealed, at that time, all the nation’s children got rid of political, ethnic, religious or class differences only to realize an independent Indonesia.

Jokowi said Indonesia was a great nation with all its diversity and differences. However, that difference is the reason why Indonesia is a unitary state in diversity. In that unity, they found a tremendous energy to move all their energy, mind and sweat for independent Indonesia.

The momentum of independence day is a reminder for the people of Indonesia, especially government officials to carry out the duties and mandates of the independence struggle. Stakeholders to work realistically to fulfill the promises of independence, and to work realistically to realize social justice for all Indonesians.
