Journalists and Community Leaders Have Role in Raising Awareness of Covid-19 Vaccination

Soon we will be vaccinated en masse for corona. The government asks journalists and community leaders to take an active role in the positive vaccination campaign. Because they have a big role in the success of this program. So that we can be free from the terrible pandemic.
The national corona vaccination is a super important program and its success must be 100%. Because the vaccine is the only one that really works , when we are tired of being suppressed by the pandemic. According to doctor Wiku, Spokesperson for the Covid Task Force Team, when everyone has been injected with the vaccine, a herd immunity will be formed so that we can be free from this dangerous disease.
But unfortunately there are obstacles from anti-vaccines and those who are easily caught in hoaxes. They insist on not wanting to be vaccinated because they think that the substance is not halal or harmful to the body. Some even believe this vaccine contains monkey cells, so it can damage the human body . Though this is just fake news which is very misleading.
The government, through the Committee for Handling Covid-19 and National Economic Recovery (KPCPEN), asked journalists to play a role in increasing public awareness for the corona vaccination. Journalists are asked to carry out the fourth pillar of democracy, namely broadcasting the truth. As well as fighting corona hoaxes so as not to make the vaccination program fail.
The role of journalists is very important because they provide accurate information about vaccinations. If they write positive news about vaccines, and ignore hoaxes, then it is certain that the national corona vaccination will be successful. Journalists are at the forefront of spreading the word and making vaccinations a success.
Doctor Kohar Hari Santoso, Director of RSSA Malan explained that the media plays a very important role in the national corona vaccination. Just like in 2017, the MR (measles-rubella) vaccination campaign was successful because journalists reported on it with a positive angle . So he hopes journalists work together again and support government programs.
The role of journalists is very important because they have to use the eyes of their hearts in spreading the word. Don’t even deliberately post hoaxes on the site, just because you want high traffic , or do dirty click-bait tricks . Doctor Koh ar continued that there was indeed a hoax of children dying after immunization, but it turned out that he lost his life because of dengue fever, not due to the effect of the vaccine.
Apart from journalists, community leaders also play an important role in the corona vaccination. Because they also have an influence in educating civilians, so they want to be injected and don’t believe in hoaxes. As community leaders, they also play an important role in making the national vaccination program 100% successful.
Community leaders hope to act wisely and participate in the positive corona vaccination campaign . This campaign can be carried out on social media, so that followers understand that the Sinovac vaccine and other vaccines that enter Indonesia are completely safe. Because it has received EUA permission from BPOM.
In addition, community leaders also convinced many people that the Sinovac vaccine was halal. Because it has received a fatwa from the MUI. Indonesian society, which is majority Muslim, will believe in its halalness. Vaccines are guaranteed halal and do not contain harmful substances, so they will not doubt it.
The public will also not be trapped by hoaxes that this vaccine is made from pork gelatin, monkey cells, or other non-halal ingredients. They just laugh when there is fake news about vaccines stating that the syringes will sink into the coolies , because it is so illogical.
A national vaccination campaign is carried out so that this program is 100% successful. The role of community leaders and journalists is very important in making it a success. Because they have a big influence in the eyes of society. Let us participate in the success of the national corona vaccination, so that we can quickly get out of the pandemic period.
