CIDISS. All parties involved in the election contestation have awareness and take action to prevent the increasing potential for conflict, including community organizations, students and the youth community from across religions.
After the peaceful declaration ahead of the 2019 Presidential Election campaign period at the Proclamation Monument, the Coordinator of the Indonesian People’s Alliance for Peaceful Elections, Husny Mubarok said, his party was here calling for the upcoming 2019 Presidential Election campaign to remain safe, peaceful and cool.
Husni said, it needed cooperation from every element of society, especially across religions, to create the 2019 Election to avoid various internal threats that could divide the nation.
Husny added, before the campaign period, we know that there are those who often use identity politics, such as the issue of religious diversity, culture, race and ideological views which should instead be the strength of our nation.
Meanwhile, Jakarta KPU Commissioner Nurdin said, he appreciated the declaration. According to him, this could be the first step towards creating a safe and peaceful democratic party.
This peace declaration is the beginning of the upcoming 2019 Election process, hopefully it can be followed up, so that the 2019 Election can take place in a cool and peaceful way to create the 2019 Election to avoid various internal threats that can divide the nation.
