Millennial youth is the most important element that must take part in counteracting various hoaxes or hoaxes that are rampant in cyberspace. This is because millennial youth are the biggest users of cyberspace which will certainly influence the political world in Indonesia.
Nearly half of the voters in this 2019 election are millennials. That is why the intelligence and wisdom of the young generation needs to be improved to counteract the hoax that is now a disease for the climate of democracy in Indonesia.
In campaigning for themselves to be smart voters, the millennial generation should not easily accept the news they read on their smart phones. Every news they read should be examined and validated before they spread it on social media.
Verifying and validating the news that comes is very important so that other people are not provoked. If this attitude of verification is not cultivated in every millennial generation, it is feared that this technological progress will only bring about a bad climate in this country that we love so much.
When we immediately spread a fake news without reading the contents of the news only because of the news titles that we consider interesting, it means that indirectly we have participated in spreading kezholiman in cyberspace.
That is why millennial youth must participate in the fight against the spread of hoax news so that the process of fair and dignified national leadership sustainability is truly realized and carried out in this very beloved homeland. For this reason, let’s join together to join hands against hoax by spreading prayer content in social media for the success of the 2019 elections that are quality and dignified for the success of national development sustainability and the sustainability of national leadership in order to lead a more advanced Indonesia.
