National corona immunization will be carried out in 2021. Although the date is not certain, the public is asked to be prepared. The Ministry of Health will send an SMS to Indonesian citizens who receive vaccinations and they are required to undergo it. The goal is to form herd immunity, so that the Covid-19 pandemic will end soon.
Vaccine is one way to prevent disease. When the whole world is hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, then corona vaccination becomes something very important. Because people who have been injected will become immune to this disease, and the number of Covid patients will decrease dramatically. So that the pandemic will be over quickly and we can do our activities normally.
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated that each citizen would receive an SMS blast from the Ministry of Health, which contained vaccine notifications. The short messages were sent since December 31, 2020. They are required to be injected, because it is in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Health HK.01.07 / Menkes / 12757/2020.
This vaccination is mandatory as a way to prevent transmission of corona. The reason is that this injection will make human immunity stronger, because the vaccine (Sinovac) is made from an attenuated disease. The government has guaranteed the safety of this vaccine. The proof, of the thousands of vaccine volunteers in West Java, including Governor Ridwan Kamil, no one has contracted the corona.
This warning makes anyone who is sent an SMS must obey when they are about to be vaccinated, including anti-vaccines. Those who are strange cannot help but have to be injected and cannot argue anymore, because MUI also guarantees the halalness of the corona vaccine. If you still persist, there will be a threat of a fine of 5 million rupiah. However, the social punishment from the community was even more severe, because they were considered to have broken the rules.
Budi Gunadi continued, there are exceptions to vaccines. Those who should not be immunized because they do not meet the criteria for vaccine recipients. Indeed, there are people in the community who are allowed not to be vaccinated because they have a serious illness, so they are feared that it will worsen their body condition.
Those who cannot be vaccinated are people with HIV / AIDS, cancer patients (depending on their body condition and doctor’s permission), people who have diabetes (depending on the type and again depending on the doctor’s decision), and autoimmune diseases (such as lupus). The community is expected to consult medical personnel to find out whether they are in good health and are ready to receive vaccines.
The government not only buys vaccines from the PRC (Sinovac brand), but also from other sources, such as Pfizer Inc, BioFarma, SinoPharm, Moderna, Novavax Inc, and BioNTech. Purchasing different vaccines is not a political game. But it is a way to make sufficient vaccine supply for all Indonesian people.
There are 3 million Sinovac vaccines that have entered Indonesia. However, people are expected to be patient because those who come will be processed again to the BioFarma company, as a state-owned vaccine producer. In addition, the BPOM number is still being registered. Wait for this vaccine to be 100% complete and don’t worry because it is cost free.
When the vaccine is ready to be injected, then the priority is the medical personnel. The reason is because they are at high risk of contracting corona from patients, so they must be vaccinated first. The administration of this vaccine is also a tribute to the sacrifices of those who work beyond shift hours because of the booming corona patients.
People are expected to be patient and wait until the vaccine is 100% complete. When an SMS is sent by the Ministry of Health, prepare physically and mentally for the vaccine injection. Don’t be afraid of getting sick because it is safe and this vaccination will actually make the body stronger. Obey the vaccination schedule from the government, so that everyone does not contract the corona and the pandemic ends quickly.
