Covid-19 has become a challenge globally and requires real action in dealing with it. Not only the role of the state, but all elements of the nation, both individuals and groups.
To be free from the grip of the pandemic, of course there are several things that must be done, such as limiting the number of people infected with the virus. Equip the family with essential equipment in an emergency, and limit themselves from places and big events where the virus infection can spread.
Complying with health protocols is certainly an obligation for all family members, such as maintaining distance, wearing masks, and washing hands before entering a house or certain place.
The government certainly has a role in making regulations so that the number of Covid-19 transmission does not increase. Such as requiring the use of masks, especially non-medical masks that can be made by yourself or are sold in the market. In addition to masks, the community is also required to bring a hand sanitizer and be diligent in washing hands with soap.
At the local level, the government and several volunteers have also made hand washing containers in public places. However, it looks like these washing places tend to be expensive to make. The question arises whether the community can provide a container for washing hands at an affordable price.
The answer is of course very possible, because the Indonesian nation is known for its creative nation, there are no used gallon faucets. Besides that, you can also use an used bucket by making a hole at the bottom.
Of course, this movement needs to be socialized, so that before entering the office or home, our hands are clean and free from germs.
PP Muhammadiyah Secretary General Abdul Mu’ti once said that the key to building a developed nation is building a healthy nation and a strong spirit, so health is an investment to build a strong nation.
Companies certainly have to implement policies to prevent their employees from being exposed to the corona virus. If an employee is sick or is at risk of being exposed to the virus, the employee must stay at home.
In addition, companies must also reduce working hours or overtime hours. In addition, the air ventilation system must also be improved so that fresh air can be maintained in the workplace and in social meeting rooms.
In addition, companies are also required to provide adequate hand washing facilities complete with hand dryers.
Meanwhile, Covid-19 also teaches us about simplicity, where at the time of a pandemic, anyone who wants to get married must be willing to reduce the list of who will be invited to the wedding.
Because forcing yourself to hold a wedding party in the midst of a pandemic, it will endanger yourself, your family and others. Of course, don’t let the case of the marriage contract lead to grief that occurred in mid-June 2020 and then in the city of Semarang to happen again. Even though at that time the family did not hold a wedding party, only an ordinary marriage contract, but did not comply with health protocols.
After organizing the event, the bride and groom’s sister reportedly passed away. After being traced and examined by the Semarang city government, several families and those present tested positive for Covid-19. The head of the Semarang City Health Office said that the wedding ceremony was a new cluster for the spread of covid-19 in Semarang.
Anyone certainly doesn’t want happy moments to end in sadness. Therefore, the health protocol must be implemented as well as possible. Indeed, some people will feel bland if the wedding moment is only held without a party.
At least this has given a message to us, to keep it simple in life.
For those who are lacking in financial capacity, the Covid-19 pandemic certainly teaches them not to force themselves to seek fees by applying for loans to hold large-scale wedding parties. Because this will actually become a burden when repaying it.
Covid-19 does present many challenges, both health and financially. A strong nation is a nation where the government and all elements of society work together to fight covid-19.
