No Homecoming Breaking the Corona Spread Chain

Going home is an annual tradition that is mostly done by the majority of Indonesian people, especially before Eid al-Fitr and other religious momentum. However, going home in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic is very dangerous because migrants have the risk of infecting families in the village. The community is also urged to withhold the desire to go home to break the chain of transmission of Corona and save dear family.
In a period of one hundred years, the Corona outbreak is said to be more deadly than other viruses. In fact, according to experts, this virus is 10 times more virulent than swine flu. So, do not be surprised if this virus attacks make residents almost all over the world afraid. Various kinds of anticipatory steps are carried out, various studies are developed. To get a virus-fighting vaccine that has ransacked the world.
It took at least 18 months to find out the ins and outs of this invisible creature. Just a shadow, just one month people around the world have been in a mess. Not to mention the state of the economy as if freefall and collapse. Not only in Indonesia alone, the possibility of superpowers such as America, Italy, Russia, or other large countries also experienced a downturn due to this economy.
Handling Corona Virus that continues to spread requires high concentration. Therefore, the appeal “do not go home” still continues to be encouraged. The potential for contagion due to going home is felt to be greater. Because as we know, even though we are not exposed to the Corona virus. We can still transmit because the nature of the ” Carrier ” can be carried by anyone.
The worldwide Corona outbreak is now the focus of Indonesia. The most recent number has reportedly approached five thousand cases. And most of those infected are those who have low immunity. Well, if the homecoming activity is done surely they don’t love their family, right? In fact, the activities of returning home are generally from big cities like Jakarta, West Java or other cities that have shown positive cases of Corona.
Is not the anticipation that comes from our own intentions. Not that if you do not go home we do not love. It is precisely when this pandemic is happening we must protect ourselves and also our families in the village. Surrounding environment, or people closest to you. Although independent quarantine has been applied, then we cannot arbitrarily joint ri and act silly.
Previously the government also wanted this homecoming to be abolished first. This was done to break the chain of COVID-19 distribution in Indonesia. In fact, the application of social restrictions on a large scale also carried out. The difference is this PSBB is equipped with a legal basis to strengthen. Was to make people obey the policy of the government.
All elements are tired enough, all are running out of energy until our front guard is very overwhelmed by medical personnel. Isn’t it time to gather our empathy. Even though we cannot contribute anything. at least aware of the current conditions. Do not overburden those who are fighting at the forefront of the country. Namely remain in their own residential area. Apply physical distancing also mask usage. Including frequent hand washing with soap and running water, before and after activities.
Almost the whole world also applies this. Although independent lockdown is felt to help this will be useless for those who are still determined to do homecoming. They seemed immune and not afraid of contracting. They feel their immunity is good. Then the question is, what about those at home. Do you also have family members with old age or babies and children.
It has already happened a lot if even healthy people have been exposed to Corona. Well, this is what worries me. It could be that this will transmit to others with low immunity. Just imagine if it happened to you, or your loved ones? Surely you don’t want to? Therefore, we are all required to be self-aware and more careful. We need to be patient for our loved ones, other parties to our beloved country. If Corona can be suppressed and even stopped by not going home first, why don’t we do it? It’s time to contribute, let’s get together against COVID-19!
