The Covid-19 pandemic that was sweeping Indonesia was thought to have implications for the national economy. Various groups also support the discussion of the Omnibus Law on Employment (Ciptaker) which is expected to strengthen the national economy.
Good communication between the government and its staff is now felt more real. The synergy between stakeholders and the DPR RI in the context of discussing Omnibus work copyright must be given a thumbs up. These parties are aware of the urgency of the universal broom bills that will take part in overcoming all problems from the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak. especially employment.
As we know, the impact of Corona is so extensive. Ranging from the informal economy to the informal sector. Many workers are laid off and carry work from home. But, for workers in the informal sector will certainly lose their jobs and even lose their livelihoods.
This terrible pandemic forced a number of parties to survive. Unfortunately the ability of each individual is different, not all in sufficient conditions. This matter is worsened by the increasing number of unemployment. If previously the related data mentioned that there had been 7 million unemployed plus 2 million workers must every year, now unemployment is booming. And with economic realities that are declining sharply.
Therefore the government is pushing for the completion of the work-related omnibus law which is believed to strengthen the national economy. Incorrect or support came from the World Bank who provided its input regarding the handling of the Corona outbreak to the implementation of the creative work sweep bill.
The input was conveyed when discussing with the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto. In terms of the corona virus outbreak, Airlangga said if the World Bank wanted Indonesia to be able to prepare a variety of medical equipment to resolve the virus problem at home.
With regard to the omnibus law, the former minister of industry claimed that the World Bank fully supports Indonesia to immediately implement the policy. Because, the policy was allegedly able to be a powerful moment to improve the structure of the national economy in the future.
The World Bank also said there would be a bright spot on structural economic reforms through this Ombibus law. Therefore, it supports the implementation of the program as soon as possible.
Furthermore, Airlangga said that the World Bank also provided a number of important step points for the government to pay attention to in pursuing structural reforms. However, he was reluctant to explain in more detail. He added that if the next concern was bureaucratic reform that would lead to various decisions to be taken.
The omnibus law policy of the Ciptaker Bill is said to be able to facilitate investment permits and provide certainty in terms of employment for investors. The hope, is that the flow of investment into the country will be swift after this policy is applied. The target of 100 days to complete the omnibuslaw must be realized. Especially if it has to do with the welfare of the Indonesian people.

This assistance is considered constrained by a number of permits due to the complexity of the bureaucracy in the country.
