The presidential debate that just took place left many stories. Many things that have been criticized by the opposition have revealed that they are the main actors. But there is one thing that is not less interesting, Prabowo Subianto does not know what a “unicorn” is. A moment back to some time ago, Prabowo and his supporters seemed to declare themselves to be a contemporary and global perspective. Contrary to the rapid advances in information technology. Clear and real, Prabowo is not the choice of millennials and fighters for the progress of the nation. Actually this is not a big surprise. After all, Prabowo was already very well known for his empty boasting.
What do you want to do with this great and victorious nation if it is led by a boastful person. Indonesia, which has been conceived as filling the highest podium in the international world, will fall to pieces if led by Prabowo. It needs to be emphasized, this is not a misunderstanding, but in fact Prabowo does not understand and has no knowledge of the nation’s problems and is in the midst of world dynamics.
Regarding Prabowo’s confusion about “unicorns”, there are other things revealed. That Prabowo always indulged in excessive fear. The mind is constructed in such a way that in facing anything it is always motivated to spread terror. This time he spread the terror of money being taken abroad. Not only without data but also not connected.
Millennials are people who have high social sensitivity and digital progress. Unicorn is a general discussion everywhere. Social and economic impacts are not small and contribute greatly to the nation. It is mandatory for prospective leaders of this country to understand exactly the actual problems. The incumbent presidential candidate has shown his partiality to the millennial group. Prabowo let alone take sides, understanding the problem is nil.
As the proverb “empty barrel sounds”. Indonesia does not need such a leader. Let’s support the sustainability of leadership and national development with clear tangible work.
