This of course is a breath of fresh air, that Indonesia is ready to synergize towards a more developed country. Maritime and fisheries development policies are directed at increasing human resources; business empowerment and protection; management of marine and fisheries resources (SDKP); improved SDKP supervision; Industrialization of marine and fisheries; increased business and investment; strengthening policies and regulations based on data, information, factual knowledge and communication with stakeholders and bureaucratic reform,
The operational step that will be taken is to build communication with marine and fisheries stakeholders; optimize aquaculture; generate marine and fisheries industries through meeting the needs of industrial raw materials and strengthening the fish quarantine system; management of the sea, coast and small islands; strengthening SDKP supervision; and strengthening human resources and marine and fisheries research innovation.
We should be grateful that Indonesia was awarded a vast ocean with various fish resources in it. Indonesia is a large maritime country because it has a sea area of 5.8 million 〖km〗 ^ 2 and a number of 17,504 islands stretching from Sabang to Merauke. Of course this becomes a potential as well as a challenge for the nation to manage, utilize and protect this potential wisely, sustainably and sustainably in order to achieve the prosperity and welfare of the people of Indonesia.
