The government has budgeted a special fund for vaccination that has exceeded 74 trillion rupiah, for the safety of its citizens. The Covid-19 vaccine has been distributed and sent to various regions, even the first vaccination has started since January 13, 2021.

As head of state, President Joko Widodo was the first to be injected with the Covid-19 vaccine and with the injection of the president, this marks the start of national vaccination. The initial vaccination carried out by the president gives confidence to the public that the vaccine is safe to use.

Not only that, in order to ensure the safety of its citizens, the president still reminded vaccination administrators regarding the importance of being careful in using vaccines. The entire implementation process must be based on data and scientific research. This is in order to increase public confidence in vaccines so that people do not hesitate.

The December 2020 Kompas survey stated that 64.3 percent responded positively to the use of the Covid-19 vaccine. However, only 55.4 percent are willing to be vaccinated. It’s like, a sick person wants to get well, but doesn’t want to go to a doctor and doesn’t want to take medicine.

All methods have been and must be taken by the government so that people are willing to be vaccinated because vaccination is the solution for Indonesia to be free from a pandemic. Meanwhile, MUI has completed a field audit on the Covid-19 vaccine from Sinovac. MUI audit results, are halal. This decision is part of building public confidence in the safety of vaccine injection against human life.

BPOM and experts / experts have also said the Covid-19 vaccine is safe and has the strength of scientific research. Various requirements have been met, if it can answer public doubts about vaccines. Together we fight against hoaxes and negative content about national vaccination in 2021 through a positive literacy campaign to build national optimism.
