South Sulawesi provincial government was ready to hold market operations dealing with the price of basic commodities speculators ahead of fasting until Lebaran in 2015.
South Sulawesi Governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo said the market operation was performed if needed. It was given the prices of basic necessities are still out of control in South Sulawesi.
Meanwhile, the Commission of Economic Affairs in Makassar city appealed to the Department of Industry and Trade Makassar conduct field visit to monitor food prices. Fatma Wahyuddin, Member of the Commission expect the appeal is carried out as soon as possible in order to do prevention. The Commission suggested that the Department of Industry and Trade has been visiting shopping centers, mini market and markets as well as distributors this week.
In addition to the inspection, Fatma said Commission and has given advice to do as well as activities such as market operations. It has been included in one of the
