The Chief of Police requests All Parties to create Peaceful and No Provocation facing Elections
CIDISS. Next year, Indonesia will hold the election of legislative and presidential vice presidential candidates for the period 2019-2024. Hopefully, all levels of society will participate in creating a safe and peaceful 2019 election.
National Police Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian invited mass organizations, community leaders, to create peaceful and peaceful elections. Not to win one party.
According to Tito, the contestants who competed in the Pileg and Pilpres event must always be aware of creating positive activities. Including the bearer party and mass supporters must maintain a positive campaign form.
He explained, did not do things that could provoke other parties because of differences in interests.
The Indonesian National Police will make every effort to keep the 2019 Election situation safe and peaceful. The two agencies work together to make a more detailed security plan to all regions in Indonesia.
Tito asserted, when a conflict occurs, it must be resolved quickly by heeding the existing operating standards. This includes protecting human rights, and not promoting excessive violence, which can be counterproductive.
The National Police together with the TNI as well as the participation of the community must jointly play an active role in safeguarding security so that the 2019 Election will run safely and smoothly. To create peace and unity, all elements of society are encouraged to commit to upholding the values in Pancasila. Through this, disunity will not occur, both in the 2019 Election and in daily life.
