The New AMANAH Building Becomes a Creative Economy Training Center to Support President Jokowi’s Initiative in Developing Young Talent

In an effort to enhance the creative potential of the young generation in Aceh, the Aceh Young People Excel Greatly (AMANAH) has organized a series of professional audio production and podcast training sessions at the Amanah Building in Aceh Besar. This activity is an initiative of the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) in accordance with the instructions of President Joko Widodo, aimed at providing creative facilities that support the development of youth skills in broadcasting and music.
The training at the new AMANAH building covers various aspects of the creative economy, including media production, graphic design, and digital marketing. With the modern facilities provided, participants can take advantage of the latest software, advanced equipment, and training spaces designed to support an effective learning process. One of the main features of this building is the podcast and media studio equipped with cutting-edge technology such as Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), professional cameras, and lighting equipment that enables the production of high-quality content.
The main goal of this training center is to create an ecosystem that supports the development of skills and creativity in young people. By providing access to quality training and facilities, the New AMANAH Building aims to develop new talents and help them translate their creative ideas into real projects. This is in line with the government’s commitment to enhance the skills and capacities of the younger generation as part of efforts to promote innovation and economic growth.
The podcast production training took place in the podcast studio on the second floor of the Amanah Multifunction Building, Aceh Industrial Area (KIA), Ladong Village. Participants gain in-depth knowledge about the use of Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), camera setup, lighting, and camera switching techniques. This training aims to equip participants with the technical skills needed in media content production.
One of the participants, Thamlicha, expressed her satisfaction with the facilities provided by the studio. According to him, this studio meets professional standards with very adequate equipment, ranging from hardware to decor. Thamlica added that this training serves as a valuable platform for sharing information among young people, as well as a means to develop personal branding and self-presentation.
In addition, communities interested in joining AMANAH can take this opportunity to share experiences and knowledge. This is very helpful for those who have limited means to present themselves to the public. Thamlicha hopes that AMANAH continues to grow and does not only focus on podcasts and soundcraft. She believes that as time progresses, the creativity present in the Amanah Multifunctional Building can grow and expand, encompassing more aspects of media production and technology. Thus, this studio can continue to be a center of innovation and creativity for the youth and the surrounding community.
On the other hand, the Amanah Building also provides a music studio equipped with advanced equipment. To further develop young talent in the creative economy, AMANAH is also conducting audio production training, where the majority of participants are students and youth from Aceh. They are given the opportunity to learn about music production as well as the operation of the latest technology such as digital mixers and Digital Audio Workstations. (DAW).
One of the participants, Ridho Brilian Laksamana, expressed that this audio production training is the first experience for him and his friends using state-of-the-art equipment that is rarely found in Aceh. Ridho conveyed his gratitude for the training and added that there have been few training sessions specifically for audio operators in the past.
Ridho hopes that the existence of this facility can motivate audio production practitioners in Aceh to continue learning and being productive, creating works they can be proud of. Representing his friends, Ridho wishes that this place can help the younger generation, the audio production practitioners, to keep learning and regain their enthusiasm for creating works. Ridho emphasizes the importance of productivity and quality results.
The presence of the new AMANAH building is expected to encourage the creativity of the youth in Aceh to contribute to the local and national economy. With comprehensive facilities and a diverse training program, AMANAH is committed to becoming a talent development center that focuses not only on theory but also on practical skills relevant to the current industry needs.
