The number of recovered corona patients continues to grow and is a strong hope that Indonesia can soon be free from the Covid-19 pandemic. Patients who have recovered are expected to continue to maintain their health to stay fit and not be infected with the COVID-19 virus for the second time.

How is Corona today? People continue to be wary because they are afraid of becoming the next patient and are trying to increase their vigilance so they don’t get infected with the Covid-19 virus. Everyone is vying for a healthy life and consuming nutritious food, as well as supplements and vitamins. Meanwhile, those who are still sick continue to fight for a speedy recovery.

There is good news that brightens the atmosphere in the midst of a pandemic. The number of recovered corona patients continues to grow. According to data from the Ministry of Health, cumulatively until August 4, 2021, in DKI Jakarta, 793,000 people have recovered, and West Java province has recovered more than 490,000. Meanwhile, in Central Java, more than 315,000 people have recovered.

This fact is certainly pleasing because far more patients have recovered than died. According to data from the COVID-19 task force, on August 2, 2021, there were more than 32,000 patients who recovered, while on August 4, more than 34,000 people had recovered. So it is true that healthy patients continue to move up the curve.

The increase in the patient’s recovery rate is the result of the hard work of the government, the COVID-19 task force, and health workers. Patients can recover quickly because there is a program for free corona drugs and vitamins. There are also free online consultation sessions with doctors when they are self-isolating.

This facility from the government is very helpful because not everyone can afford to buy their own medicines or have a BPJS card. Even if you have money, not all medicines and vitamins are available in pharmacies in the city. So that patients who get the drug stock are not confused when they need it.

In addition, the increase in the number of recovered patients also occurred due to the free treatment of corona patients in hospitals, provided that they had a BPJS card. The cost of maintenance is very high if it is not covered by this government insurance, it can reach hundreds of millions of rupiah. Therefore, the BPJS card becomes a savior when the patient is in urgency.

The health workers also deserve a thumbs up because they are fighting hard to cure patients. Doctors, nurses, and other health workers are willing to work very long shifts because they want all patients to get healthy quickly. They also withstand the heat because they work in PPE clothes wrapped in original uniforms, and are willing to sweat for the lives of patients in hospitals.

In addition, the role of the surrounding environment is also quite influential on the patient’s recovery. When a family is self-isolating, they are not shunned or bullied. They are even supported by providing ready-to-eat food, so they are not confused because they can’t cook because their bodies are very sick. Neighbors are also ready to help find an ambulance when the patient wants to be treated at the hospital.

The former corona patient who has recovered is very relieved to be free from this terrible disease. They are no longer depressed because they have to be treated for 14 days and have fever, shortness of breath, and are threatened with fear because of the viciousness of the Covid-19 virus. However, after recovering, you must still obey the 10M health protocol and wear a mask.

Former patients are also required to maintain immunity by consuming nutritious food, drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day, and exercising lightly. Don’t forget to sunbathe for at least 10 minutes every morning.

The increase in the number of corona patients who have recovered is very comforting news because it means we can be free from the pandemic phase more quickly. The number of patients who have recovered shows the government’s seriousness in dealing with the COVID-19 virus. Hopefully the number of patients who are cured will increase and the sick will continue to decrease.
