The people and students agreed to support the inauguration of Jokowi – Ma’ruf as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2019-2024 Period. They also agreed to support the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia from all forms of foreign ideology. This was voiced as there was provocation to thwart the inauguration procession of the President and the Vice President who was planned to be held on October 20, 2019.
The most beautiful scenery is when all elements of society without exception, provide support to the government. Especially to maintain the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. Although the public was crowded with efforts to overthrow the governance of the Former Walkot Solo, this did not seem to be a problem. In fact, thousands of students took part in and the community to provide support to the country’s leader.
Not an easy matter, uniting one step for mutual benefit. considering that one country consists of millions of people with different head contents and opinions. However, this is where the value of unity is demonstrated, based on the principle of diversity the Indonesian people must continue to strengthen unity in order to realize national stability.
Not one or two demonstrations that ended in chaos, even countless number of public facilities damaged to the death toll. The positive value is the delivery of aspirations to the government. However, whatever its form, anarchism is still not permitted, in addition to harming many parties it also has an impact on the demonstrators themselves. The demonstration that followed seemed to accompany the inauguration procession of the President as well as the elected vice president this period.
In fact, this inauguration is certainly inevitable, considering that this is a series of events highlighting democracy in the elections that have been held some time ago. However, no doubt there must be parties who are not pleased with the results that have been decided. Until the issue of third party infiltration to forcibly remove the leader of the country.
As reported by several media, there are thousands of students from various universities in the city of Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) along with elements of the NTT community holding a demonstration, titled the rally at the Kupang Nostalgia Park. This action called itself the NTT Community Forum Guard of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, to support the Unitary Republic of Indonesia under the leadership of Jokowi – Ma’ruf. A number of NTT community leaders were also attending the action. Among others: Undana Chancellor, Fred Benu, Frans Lebu Raya, Ayub Meko, Unkris Rector Arta Wacana, Muhamadyah Rector Zainur Wula, did not forget Unika Rector Widya Mandira, Philipus Tule.
At this grand meeting they were suspected of signing signatures on banners as a form of support for the government and the Unitary Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila ideology. Which also agreed upon five statements of joint attitude namely,
1. Together with a legitimate government will commit to maintaining the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia based on the ideology of Pancasila.
2. Strictly rejecting the presence of Persons, organizations, groups who want to try to ravage the Republic of Indonesia and replace the ideology of Pancasila.
3. Uphold the Constitution and rule of law, considering that Indonesia is a country that upholds the value of justice
4. Providing support for the inauguration of the elected President and Vice President, namely, Ir. Joko Widodo and KH Ma’ruf Amin who were elected constitutionally.
5. Appeal and call on all elements of this nation to maintain order, comfort, security, unity as well as national unity.
Undana Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Fred Benu in his speech stated that the grand meeting that was held was a step to guide students to be on the right path. Namely, by supporting the Homeland based on the ideology of Pancasila. He also invited students to participate not to pay attention to discordant voices that would lead them into improper actions. It also stated firmly, it is ready to be the front guard if there are parties who want to sue the Republic of Indonesia and replace the ideology.
Meanwhile elements of the community also expressed readiness to support the inauguration of President Jokowi. Frans Lebu Raya, said he was ready to fight those who would try to thwart the inauguration of the president and vice president. Especially for third parties who deliberately accompany the demonstration that led to chaos. The former Governor of NTT for two periods fully supports the student movement if throughout their struggle is purely in the context of upholding democracy and the rule of law.
Furthermore, let us as good citizens, we guard and support the Presidential Inauguration as well as this vice president to complete the mandate of the people who have chosen. Let’s make the procession Inauguration of the democratic party is the start of a new development. So that it will help the country’s leaders in solidifying their steps, to realize prosperity for the entire citizens of the Republic of Indonesia, without exception.
