The Role of the Community to Maintain Security Ahead of the Inauguration of the President and the Vice-Presidential Elected

Security forces continue to stand by ahead of Jokowi-Ma’ruf’s inauguration as President and Vice President. Nevertheless, the public is also encouraged to participate in maintaining conducivity in order to make the event a success.
The news about the holding of this state agenda was intensely echoed. Various preparations ranging from a number of appeals to maintain conduciveness to layered security at the residence of President Jokowi continue to be disseminated to the public. He considered if all forms of government work evaluation were indeed commonly done, by channeling them through constitutional space. However, if there are still aspirations that have not been contained, then they can be channeled through the appropriate mechanism, namely the DPR, DPD and the Republic of Indonesia Parliament. According to him, that is the way of politicized culture, and not choosing through street democracy.

Meanwhile, the Chancellor of the Riau Islamic University (UIR) Syafrinaldi stated that his party and the academic community strongly reject anarchist demonstrations and various types of radicalism. Even with the actions of radicalism and intolerance that will interfere with security. He acknowledged that he had felt this peaceful and conducive situation in Riau. Thanks to the support of all components of society.
Chairman of the Pekanbaru City Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB), Ismardi Ilyas also expressed his rejection of the demonstration that was anarchist. Also condemned the occurrence of acts of terrorism and radicalism movements. According to him, the teachings of any religion will not justify this. He did not forget to invite all religious communities to maintain conduciveness and state security. Because it is the responsibility of all Indonesian people.
Being a big nation is, becoming strong and strong with cooperation between elements, namely government and society. Thus the desired situation and conditions will be able to be realized.
