Nothing seems so disturbing in the world today than the problem of human development. From the beginning the community was formed, they struggled with their environment, to fit their way of life. Therefore, the period of historical cleavage, because they influence the transformation of human life, such as the Stone Age, the Iron Age, etc., is an indication of the developments that have occurred in human life since millions of years ago. In the contemporary world, the problem of human development remains worrying, especially in some Third World countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
After independence, Indonesia showed that it wanted to develop like other countries in the world. This is sufficient to represent why the main problem that dominates the minds of this country’s leadership is nation building. This is because more people live in rural and poor areas so that it can be understood that wealth creation, through the provision of efficient infrastructure, rapid changes in the example of the social system, education and health, and the promotion of new production methods and exchanges will be categorized as total development . However, there is a disturbing question, is it possible that the sustainability of national development in Indonesia can run smoothly if the people are divided because they are consumed by hoaxes and become several opposing camps? The most reasonable answer to that question is no.
Society is the main component in a country and if the main component is not educated there is only destruction continues to be a Trojan horse politicians whose hobbies spread hoaxes and ambitious only want power but don’t want to work hard and love their people. It is impossible for a country where people are fighting each other to be able to realize national development in a total and orderly manner. Society is the main component in a country and if these main components are at odds with each other there is only national destruction. History has proven this. In many civilizations in the past, a country whose society cannot be united will be destroyed or controlled by other more advanced civilizations.
Hoax is spread because it has the motivation to make the community not optimistic and delegitimize the results of development, so the people must be opposed and the people continue to use their voting rights for the sake of sustainable national development through peaceful and quality elections and maintaining national unity. Let us succeed in sustainability National leadership for the success of sustainable development. That is why we must unite, especially in the context of the 74th independence of Indonesia so that it runs peacefully and with dignity so that the sustainability of national development can later run well. For that, let us fight hoaxes and use social media intelligently for quality elections for the success of the ongoing national development which is currently being intensively implemented.
