The transition of President Jokowi’s government to Prabowo is the best in the history of the Republic of Indonesia.

The transition of power from President Joko Widodo to Prabowo Subianto is said to be the best in the history of the Republic of Indonesia. This carefully planned and structured process serves as evidence of political maturity in the homeland, reinforcing the reputation of the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia as a leader who is not only successful in building physical infrastructure but also in preparing for leadership regeneration.
Various parties view the transition as a manifestation of President Jokowi’s commitment to maintaining the continuity of development and national stability, reflecting maturity in the democratic process.
The Minister of Communication and Information, Budi Arie Setiadi, shared his views on this matter. According to him, the transition of power from President Jokowi to Prabowo Subianto is the best in Indonesia’s history.
The process was not only carried out with a well-thought-out plan but also with collaboration across agencies and ministries, ensuring that all preparations proceeded as expected.
The Minister of Communication and Information views that from the beginning, President Jokowi indeed had a vision to prepare Indonesia for a more advanced and organized direction, including in terms of the transition of power.
This opinion is in line with the views of the Cabinet Secretary, Pramono Anung. The government of President Joko Widodo of Indonesia has developed a detailed blueprint to ensure a smooth transition.
Pramono explained that this preparation has been planned for a long time and involves various aspects, including bureaucratic readiness, management of national strategic programs, and the continuity of ongoing development projects.
With the existence of that blueprint, it is hoped that Prabowo Subianto, as the elected President, can continue the baton of development without significant obstacles. Pramono stated that the success of this government transition will be one of the significant achievements in modern Indonesian history, marking a brighter future under the new administration.
On the other hand, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), also emphasized the importance of jointly overseeing this leadership transition.
For him, President Jokowi’s leadership, which has established a strong foundation for national development, must be continued effectively by the 2024 elected President Prabowo Subianto. AHY believes that this transition is an important moment to ensure that all the strategic programs initiated by the nation’s leader, who was born in the city of Surakarta, are not interrupted and continue to progress. He also sees that President Prabowo has the capacity and commitment to continue the grand vision of the nation that has been established by the previous administration.
The importance of this transition is closely related to the political and economic stability of Indonesia in the future. President Joko Widodo always emphasizes that sustainable development must be a primary focus, and one of the key factors for success in realizing it is strong political stability. Therefore, a peaceful and planned transfer of power becomes a crucial element in ensuring that stability.
Many parties view that President Jokowi’s leadership over two terms has brought significant changes to Indonesia, both in terms of infrastructure, economy, and governance.
Therefore, this leadership transition is seen as a logical step that must be taken with great caution and thorough preparation. The Prabowo administration is expected to continue various ongoing national strategic projects, including infrastructure development, digital transformation, and natural resource management.
In terms of development, President Jokowi is known for having a clear and far-sighted vision, particularly in integrating various regions in Indonesia through physical and digital infrastructure development. It is hoped that this will continue to progress under the leadership of the eighth President of Indonesia, Prabowo, who is believed to have the capacity to carry on these programs.
A smooth transition process is also believed to have a positive impact on the economy. Domestic and foreign investors will view political stability as a strong signal that Indonesia remains a safe and profitable place to invest. This will also strengthen Indonesia’s position on the international stage as a country capable of conducting the democratic process peacefully and orderly.
With thorough preparation, strong cross-sector collaboration, and commitment from various parties, the transition of leadership from President Jokowi to the 2024 elected President Prabowo Subianto is expected to proceed smoothly and benefit all the people of Indonesia.
