CIDISS. Coordinating Minister for Human and Cultural Development (Coordinating Minister for PMK) Puan Maharani released participants of the Healthy Walk of the Asian Games XVIII 2018, at the office of the Governor of South Sumatra, Sunday, August 12 morning. This activity is a series of government efforts to succeed the 2018 XVIII Asian Games.
When releasing healthy walk participants, Coordinating Minister for Agriculture gave a speech. In his remarks, he said after 56 years, Indonesia was once again trusted to be the Host of the Asian Games, which is the second largest sports event after the Olympics.
According to him, the success of the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang is the result of joint work of all Indonesian people, mutual cooperation of all components of the nation. Therefore, let’s welcome the 2018 Asian Games XVIII happily and be a good host.
On the healthy road, involving teachers and junior high school, high school / vocational high school students in Palembang.
He also mentioned, the teachers who attended the program today, in the framework of the vibrant 2018 Asian Games, became historical actors in participating in the success of the 2018 Asian Games, especially in Palembang. Coordinating Minister of Agriculture strongly appreciated the involvement of the people in this activity.
The healthy walk was attended by 10,000 participants from high school / vocational high school students and 5,000 participants from junior high school and teacher students. The participants traveled 3.7 kilometers from the start and ended at the office of the Governor of South Sumatra.
At yesterday’s event, Coordinating Minister for Puan accompanied by South Sumatra Governor Alex Noerdin took time to attend the Asian Games XVIII 2018 Healthy Walk after having officially released the participants.
After following the Healthy Walk of the Asian Games in XVIII 2018, the Coordinating Minister of Puan together with South Sumatra Governor Alex Noerdin distributed door prizes to the participants. The door prize consists of 1 motorbike, 45 bicycles to 50 dolls of the 2018 Asian Games XVIII.
The success of the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang is the result of joint work of all Indonesian people, mutual cooperation of all components of the nation. Therefore, let us as citizens of Indonesia welcome the 2018 Asian Games XVIII happily and be a good host for the 2018 Asian Games.
