The party of democracy or general elections simultaneously in Indonesia will soon take place. The heat of the political temperature in 2019 cannot be denied from previous elections. Of course, this happened because this year the crowds of the supporters of each of Paslon were not merely from declarations.
The emergence of the hashtags of support or the continuous attack between the Paslon camps on a number of social media, helped to heat up the Election event this time. This is all not escaped from the form of enthusiasm and participation of the Indonesian people to determine the prospective leaders of their country.
However, in the direction of the success of the democratic party it was not as smooth as planned by many parties. One of them was in West Sulawesi, which reportedly had experienced delays in sending ballots, due to an error in printing ballots by the winning company in Makassar. However, the KPU of West Sulawesi Province guarantees that the logistical distribution of general elections simultaneously in the area will arrive according to the set schedule.
“We ensure that simultaneous election logistics will be distributed according to schedule and no later than ‘H-1’ or one day before voting, the ballots have already been in all TPDs,” said Rustang as KPU of West Sulawesi Province.
Ballot mail delivery in several districts in West Sulawesi has arrived and has entered the sorting process. While for the next region the distribution is processed based on the furthest region, the level of difficulty and the condition of the region and the highest number of voters.
The sorting process is estimated to only last for four days and the folding of ballots is no more than five days, so that this will not hamper the schedule for the election on April 17.
“We have made a schedule, no later than April 11, the ballot has to shift from district to PPK, then on April 15 the ballot has to be shifted to PPS so that it goes to polling no later than April 16, 2019. “The farthest, hardest and most extreme polling stations,” said Rustang.
In the report from the coil media, as many as 860,910 ballots were received by the Mamuju KPU, with a total of 170,852 ballot papers, each of which consisted of choosing the presidential candidate, Republic of Indonesia Parliament, Republic of Indonesia Regional Representative Council, North Sumatra Regional Representative Council and Mamuju Regency DPRD.
Other regions that also received ballot logistics were the 1,556,712 Polewali Mandar KPU. Polman is the first area in West Sulawesi to receive ballot logistics and is the region with the largest turnout.
“Thank God, the ballots for Mamuju Regency have all been printed and have been received,” said Chairman of the Mamuju KPU, Hamdan Dangkang.
Furthermore, the ballots will be sorted and folded before being distributed to the District Election Committee (PPK). Hamdan targets, the process of sorting and folding the sound can be completed tomorrow.
Various efforts have been made by the central and regional governments so that the whole community can celebrate this democratic party. Both the Indonesian community in urban areas and the border need not worry or worry about losing your voting rights. Indeed, the Jokowi government has committed to the success of the simultaneous election in a peaceful, dignified and fair manner.
