In the 2019 general election, the climate continued to be felt even though the voting had been held. The community seems to still be “drunk” about the atmosphere of the general election and provide support to the candidates chosen. This is actually permissible, but disproportionate support is feared to trigger conflict between the two camps supporting the presidential and vice-presidential candidates in the 2019 General Election.

At present, there are widespread rumors that both sympathizers are still doing everything they can to realize honest and fair elections. This is a commendable and exemplary action because this critical attitude of society signifies that the democratic system in Indonesia is moving towards a better direction. However, it is expected that the methods used are still in the rules and regulations that do not interfere with the current security situation.

Please note that the general election process was held after a series of lengthy trials and discussions from the government. The government certainly has taken into account all the possibilities that can occur as well as actions that need to be taken in anticipating this. Therefore, it is better for the public to trust the general election process currently being carried out by the government.

At present, the government is resolving various issues related to the general election. If the community still wants to offer assistance, the assistance can be channeled in the form of advice to the media – media that has been provided. Suggestions from the public will be accommodated and accepted by the government for consideration. However, if people want to do more than this, it is feared that the assistance provided will be counterproductive. Believe me, whoever wins the candidate pair, Indonesia will also win. Therefore, it is expected that all supporters are not arrogant and move according to the rules that apply.
