CIDISS (Central Kalimantan) – The increasing of chili nationally, makes citizen annoyed. It’s also happen in Central Kalimantan Province. The average of chili in Central Kalimantan province is about IDR 150.000 per kg. But, the price of chili in some traditional market in Seruyan regency, Central Kalimantan is up of the average price in Central Kalimantan province.
A citizen of Sembuluh village, Danau Sembuluh district, seruyan regency, Central Kalimantan province, Hendri (29) said that in his hometown, the price of chili is about IDR 250.000 per kg.
“In traditional market of Sembuluh village, Danau Sembuluh district, the price of chili is about IDR 250.000 per kg,” said Hendri such in antarakalteng.
He assumed the increasing of chili in his hometown because there is no or less supply from Sampit, Kotawaringin Timur regency. This situation makes chili become rare.
Previously, the increasing of chili till IDR 200.000 per kg, has been happen in traditional market in Pembuang Hulu district (one regency with Sembuluh village). Normally, the price of chili is around IDR 50.000 – 80.000. The reason is less or decreases the supply of chili from neighbor regency, Kotawaringin Barat regency. In fact, Seruyan regency still needs supply from Kotawaringin Barat and Kotawaringin Timur regency in the chili stock.
It’s different with Pembuang Hulu, Capital of Seruyan regency, the supply stock in Traditional market in there is from Java and the price of chili is about IDR 150.000/ kg.
The price is fluctuation, it’s because depend on supply stock from others area. In short, when the supply stock from other area is quite less and high price, and then the price in the market is also high. It’s also for vice versa.
