We welcome 2021 with a new spirit to fight radicalism. Because this understanding is dangerous and not in accordance with Pancasila. Then, Pancasila must be the only ideology, and cannot be replaced by anything, including the caliphate. Because Pancasila has covered everything, from divinity to justice.
Have you made a resolution for 2021? New year, new spirit, let’s fill it with new hopes. Become citizens who obey the rules, including against radicalism, rejecting the caliphate, and grounding the Pancasila philosophy. Because Pancasila is the basis of the state that cannot be replaced by anything.
Why should you reject the concept of a caliphate state? Because it is not in accordance with the pluralistic Indonesian society. Moreover, since 1945, we have agreed to use Pancasila as a life principle. It may be that the concept of a caliphate state fits elsewhere, but not in Indonesia.
When there are parties who impose their will to establish a caliphate state, they violate the law. According to the former Coordinating Minister for Politics, General (ret) Wiranto, the caliphate is against Pancasila and has the potential to threaten the country’s political sovereignty. the ideology of the caliphate will negate the nation state and be transational. In that sense, NKRI will be destroyed.
It was terrible when Indonesia was replaced by a country with another concept. Therefore, we are also obliged to eradicate radicalism. Because radicalism is also the method used by separatist groups who want to change the basis of the state. How can a country be peaceful and peaceful if it is full of violence?
Radical groups must be eradicated as soon as possible, because their methods are very extreme, even costing lives. Terrorists who have lost their compassion do everything they can, including bombing, to frighten other groups who are against their principles. Radical and terrorist groups invite war and chaos.
If there are suspects in cases of radicalism and terrorism, then don’t twist the news. For example, he is very old, still has to be accountable for his actions in prison. Because proven to be detrimental to many people. Even before being free, he still has to carry out a deradicalism program and pledge allegiance to the Republic of Indonesia.
To fight radicalism, terrorism, and the ideology of the caliphate, we are obliged to ground Pancasila in all aspects of life. Because in the 5 precepts of Pancasila, we have summarized all the things that humans need. Starting from divinity, society, to the principle of justice. So that Pancasila has been fixed as the basis of the state and cannot be contested.
How to ground Pancasila so that you don’t just memorize it needs to be done, starting from the closest environment, namely your home, to schools and workplaces. Since childhood, children are also taught nationalism and apply Pancasila in their daily lives. First, by giving an example of devout worship, it is also fair in giving attention to all children.
If parents set an example, the children will apply Pancasila until they are adults. Likewise with the office, in the RT, and other social spheres. Pancasila grounding is not difficult, because we are actually used to it.
Citizens who apply Pancasila, besides being obedient to worship, are always considerate of their neighbors. He respects others and does not impose opinions. Pluralism is carried out, because he realizes that Indonesia is a multi-cultural country and has 6 beliefs that are recognized by the state.
When you have grounded Pancasila, no one wants to be invited to join terrorist, radical, or caliphate ideologies. Because he realized that differences are beautiful, and we cannot force an opinion. Moreover, forcing to change the basis of the state, abolishing Pancasila, and making a caliphate state.
