In the province of Central Kalimantan, Rattan is one of the natural products and provides economic value for the community. One of them is in Kotawaringin Timur regency.
However, the result of investigations from the Department of Industry and Trade (Disperindag) Kotawaringin Timur, much of Rattan illegally sells to Malaysia. This was revealed by Plt Kadisdisperindag Kotim, Hero Rio Widosono.

For example, if the load in a ship containing 700 tons to 1000 tons departed in a month, then of course, there are thousands of tons of Kotim rattan sold by means smuggled.
