Manado — Through the construction of the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN) in Manado, North Sulawesi, the Indonesian government once again demonstrates its commitment to advancing education and strengthening national unity.

The newly inaugurated AMN is part of a national program to support students from various regions in Indonesia, providing them with better access to education and creating a conducive environment for learning and cross-cultural interaction.

The AMN building in Manado is constructed with modern and complete facilities, including comfortable study rooms, a digital library, sports areas, and safe, suitable dormitories. With these facilities, AMN is expected to become a place for training future leaders of the Indonesian nation.

During the inauguration of AMN Manado, the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Nadiem Makarim, stated that the presence of AMN in Manado is part of the government’s efforts to improve the quality of education while also strengthening national unity.

“AMN is not just a dormitory, but also a place to learn about diversity, tolerance, and mutual cooperation.” “This is a long-term investment for the future of Indonesia,” said Nadiem.

Furthermore, Nadiem emphasized the importance of education as the foundation for building a strong and prosperous nation. By providing the best facilities for students, the government hopes to cultivate a young generation that is not only academically intelligent but also possesses strong character and integrity.

The AMN building in Manado serves as a residence for students from various provinces in Indonesia, who are accepted through a rigorous selection process. Selected students will benefit from an inclusive learning environment that allows them to exchange ideas, learn together, and develop themselves under the guidance of competent educators and mentors.

The presence of AMN Manado is expected to produce more graduates who are ready to compete on national and international stages. AMN is also hoped to serve as a model for similar dormitories in other regions, as part of the government’s efforts to equalize access to quality education throughout Indonesia.

“This is a concrete step towards creating a better future for the younger generation of Indonesia. We want all children of the nation, regardless of their regional background, to have equal opportunities to pursue higher education and become leaders in the future,” concluded Nadiem.

Meanwhile, Doni W. Utina, as the Vice Chairman of KNPI Sulut for Education, Research, and Technology, stated that it is important to enhance the quality of young human resources in various regions through the improvement of education quality, so that in the future, it will produce outstanding future leaders of the nation.

“The improvement of education quality for the youth is very important, as it is one of the ways to produce resilient future leaders who can contribute to advancing the country,” he said.

The presence of AMN in Manado is a clear testament that the government continues to invest in the future of Indonesian youth, preparing them to face global challenges and become an important pillar in the nation’s development.
