CIDISS – The potential of natural resources (SDA) in Regency of Lamandau, Central Kalimantan province, must be protected and furnished in order to provide benefits for the welfare of the community and the region. Besides handling in the right way, in order, it will be into a heritage of SDA and it is very useful to the next generation.
As in antaranewskalteng, Regent of Lamandau, Ir Marukan said, Lamandau has a high diversity of potential SDA. SDA is very great to support community life now and in the future, as well as the continuity of development.
Along with the increase of population, he explained, then the utilization of SDA, it require technical and efforts of the management, monitoring, safeguards and watching an increasingly tight. Hence the required control master plan of SDA and the environment, including short term, medium term and long term.
“The goal is to identifying the entire potential SDA that can cause harm effect to the environment. Other goal is to identify the impact might be arises, and examines the efforts of handling, “explain Marukan.
The population’s growth in Lamandau regency, he added, very rapidly, the impact of these developments will affect to the balance of the environment, where the increasing population will be accompany an increase in the fulfillment of the necessities of life.
Furthermore, He said, the fulfillment of necessities of life will trigger the population to use SDA as much as multitude. The increasing of human needs will increase the use of SDA that ultimately raises the burden on the environment.
