Various Morowali Figures Ensure PT GNI’s Security Conditions are Conducive
Wulanderi Indigenous Peoples ‘ Institution Mori Julius Pode said that currently the situation has recovered, meaning PT Gunbuster Nickel Industry (PT GNI) has resumed operations, employees have started working, economic actors have worked where stalls have been opened and all the people have returned to their activities and are running well.

Julius Pode gives his greatest appreciation to the TNI and Polri who have been able to create and handle the situation so that it can be as conducive as it is at this time and I hope that a situation like this will not happen again because in the end it will destroy us all.
“Thank you to the security forces who have maintained conduciveness so that PT.GNI’s justice can run and make a major contribution to our regional income,” said Chairman of the Indigenous Peoples ‘ Institution Wulanderi Mori.
Meanwhile, seeing the incidents that occurred at PT. GNI, Julius saw unilateral provocations from irresponsible people who wanted to destroy the presence of the business world, investments that provide foreign exchange to Indonesia.
Previously, the Chairperson of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) for Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi), Habib Ali bin Muhammad Aljufri , said he was concerned about the incident at PT GNI. He hopes that all parties can exercise restraint so that similar incidents do not happen again.
“After all, investment activities have benefits for the community. Although there were indeed damages arising from the incident,” he said.
Furthermore, Habib Ali considered that the problems that occurred had to be resolved quickly. Someone must be able to mediate, because the losses resulting from the destruction were not only experienced by PT GNI itself, but also by other parties, including workers.
Meanwhile, the Head of Tompira Village , Petasia Timur Subdistrict, North Morowali, Mohamad Sufran appealed to all people to continue to be able to maintain conduciveness .
“I urge and invite the whole community, more specifically PT GNI employees to continue to maintain security stability so that it remains conducive, creating a safe investment climate,” he said
