CIDISS, Central Kalimantan – The deforested or change the forest become built a house, making a plantation, road, etc, leave another story. The decrease of forest area, it effects on habitat of flora and fauna is unbalance.
For animal, the change of forest, it will make them lost their home. Besides that, they will have difficult to get food in the forest, Such as Orang utan.
Orang Utan lived in Forest and eat the fruit, they also get the effect of deforested. They get difficult to get any food. Then, they enter to village for looking food.
Recently, People on Housing Wengga Metropolitan, Baamang district, Kotawaringin Timur regency, Central Kalimantan province, they are worry because appears of Orang Utan in village.
Orang Utan enter in housing and eat the pineapple in the garden. One of the reason is habitat of Orang Utan in the forest is decrease and difficult to have food.
Commandant of Post BKSDA (Natural Resources Conservation Agency) Sampit, Muriansyah said that the party has survey to village. “We found nest and fesses of Orang Utan,” said Muriansyah such in Borneonews.co.id
Not only fesses, but his team also found the break of pineapple. “The habitat of Orang Utan is almost disappearing. Then, they enter to village,” said him.
The case appeared Orang Utan in village is not the first time. Recorded, Orang utan reported also appear on September 2015 and October 2015 in village. But, the protected animal, Orang Utan has evacuated by rescue team Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) Central Kalimantan.
