In this regard, the Deputy for Communication and Information who is also the Spokesperson for the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Prabawa Ajie firmly denied the existence of a leaflet/flyer stating that BIN and the National Police thwarted Anies Baswedan’s declaration activities in a number of areas.
Ajie believes that the flyers stating that BIN and Polri have canceled Anies’ declaration events in various regions are not true. It is suspected that this was carried out by parties who were irresponsible and deliberately wanted to bring BIN institutions against each other against the people.
Ajie also added that as the front line in the national security system, BIN has the duty to protect all of Indonesia’s bloodshed. In order to achieve this, BIN personnel must be independent and impartial because all actions are based on facts and are not influenced by personal or group interests and are not dependent on other parties, but solely for the interests of the nation and state.
