President Prabowo’s Foreign Visits Evoke a Sense of Pride Among Citizens
Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto’s visits to foreign countries, such as China and the United States, have received positive responses from various segments of society.
Political analyst Ujang Komaruddin stated that this series of working visits has evoked a sense of pride among Indonesian citizens, both domestically and abroad. This is evident from the public’s enthusiasm towards each activity carried out by President Prabowo during these visits.
“So, if we analyze and observe what Mr. Prabowo has done as the 8th President of Indonesia, it has impressed all Indonesian people how he has experience, good relations with many countries, and many world leaders,” said Ujang.
Moreover, Indonesian citizens in China welcomed President Prabowo’s presence with enthusiasm and joy. They were even willing to wait and prepare for President Prabowo’s arrival for hours.
A similar scenario unfolded when President Prabowo arrived in the United States to continue his working visit.
“Prabowo has intelligence, extensive knowledge, and is also very humble. These are also testimonies given by Indonesian citizens in America when meeting with Mr. Prabowo, and I see that what Mr. Prabowo has done has aroused a sense of pride for the Indonesian people,” Ujang explained.
“Going forward, we will certainly witness how Mr. Prabowo’s leadership, with its open, communicative, and aspirational nature, can become a source of pride for all Indonesian people,” he continued.
Meanwhile, Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid said that besides making the public proud, President Prabowo’s visits abroad are a manifestation of Indonesia’s role on the international stage.
“The President emphasized that these visits are a manifestation of Indonesia’s role in the international world. Requests for Indonesia to be present in bilateral and multilateral meetings show that Indonesia is highly respected and its role is awaited by the whole world,” said Meutya.
Meutya continued, stating that in these visits, Indonesia has a role in bridging the interests of developing countries with developed countries.
“Indonesia will play a role in bridging the interests of developing countries with developed countries. Of course, within the framework of good neighbor policy,” Meutya said.
